Absolutely, dementia is the final ingredient in a very dangerous cocktail. When they are successful, they become more grandiose and cruel. When they suffer a loss, they become more dangerous and desperate. These guys just blew my mind, I've been telling people how Trump used to call Rona Barrett and speak rumors. She was gossip column written with an large amount of compared to the millions on social media he can spread his rumors
@lyxsm4 ай бұрын
@@mark-ish This pattern of complacency is quite common in certain expressions of narcissism. Malignant narcissism lacks clear definition and is best described as a certain overlap between NPD and ASPD, which are highly comorbid anyways. Preplanning is neither inherently part of narcissism nor antisocial personality disorder, this is very dependent on the subtype and the individual expression of it. Donald Trump's behavioral patterns definitely fall into the scope of NPD, however antisocial behavior is not as apparent and would need to be examined professionally. At best you could say Trump should not be called a malignant narcissist, since the term lacks proper clinical definition and would only truly be verifiable through close examination. Otherwise calling him a (malignant) narcissist is immoral, but not necessarily wrong. Also "a child that never matured" is a surprisingly accurate depiction of narcissism in general and a great way to concisely explain the disorder to the layman or rather give them a better understanding. It is after all a very misunderstood disorder (as most psychiatric disorders are). I doubt this particular psychologist was actually trying to say Trump wasn't a narcissist, but rather tried to convey an understanding of narcissism, and Trumps personality for that matter, which would be more widely understood by the laymen reached through his - I assume - interview in common media.

I’m quite enthusiastic about this movie and what it’s about. I’ve always been a staunch believer in Roy Cohn’s influence on Trump and his deceitful behavior. Roy Cohn was, without a doubt one of the most powerful, influential,deceitful and divisive attorneys of his time. He was a closeted homosexual who held some of the deepest secrets of the most influential politicians. He was in fact the lawyer responsible for the Rosenburg case. He had no moral compass nor integrity. His only concern was to win at all cost regardless of what bodies may lay in the wake. I believe Donald Trump holds a similar position. Any LGBTQ person who lived through the catastrophic AIDS epidemic in the 80’s knows very well how Roy Cohn’s nefarious actions within the Reagan administration led to political cover ups that resulted in hundreds of AIDS related deaths.

Dump also completely abandoned him while he was dying. They deserved each other, arseholes. "Tragic" imples that either of them deserve sympathy, which neither does

Cohn, who was a fixer for the Reagan administration, did indeed get preferential access to an experimental AIDS treatment per: Reagan, while the admin was ignoring the "gay plague." Easily corroborated with any credible search engine

This movie is a must see. Off topic but when BTC mentioned the bizarre "eating people's pets" topic I was reminded of something important about that topic popping up so often these days. It's being doubled down on by MAGA folk because it's a tactic related to control of the Senate in the next term. Its real target audience are the people in Sherrod Brown's (D-OHIO) district. The MAGAs never shy away from causing collateral damage, in this case the Haitian community of Ohio. Politics is always local. Again, it's why they're doubling down on such a weird lie. Spread the word. Also, you might consider making a contribution to Sherrod Brown's campaign to potentially help offset the effect. Gotta win the Senate!
