Former President Trump held a campaign rally in the Bronx in an effort to court Black and Latino voters, while his hush money trial also continues in New York City. NBC's Dasha Burns spoke with voters at the event.

Trump didn't decide to have a rally until he discovered there were alot of people there - he said they were just going to have like a town hall talk to the people but decided to make it a rally when so many people showed up - also people were there all day - other channels are showing aerial views and people leaving but that was in the morning and during the day when various speakers were at the podium - Trump didn't come to the rally until 6:00 pm in the evening

Both the democrat lead senate and the republican lead house have passed a bill claiming to be about border security. The democrat's "border bill" HR-815 National Security and Border Act, uses the word "border" 13 times and uses the word "Ukraine" 73 times. What it does devote to the border includes things like 100 million dollars to be spent on providing immigration lawyers to illegals that cross. The republican bill, HR-2 Secure the Border act is actually a bill that is intended to secure the border. It uses the word "border" 209 times and the word "Ukraine" 0 times. HR-2 was passed by the house in May 2023 and Chuck Schumer has refused to bring it to the senate floor. So while democrats claim that they are about border security and that republicans are stopping them, by refusing to even bring HR2 to the senate floor for an entire year they are actually sabotaging the safety of America.
