The US has to come out of the defence based economy. Those days are over just living on selling weapons and expanding Nato with defence deals. The wars in the last 25 years created so many refugees and every country has a problem now. Instead of defence relationships the US should focus on the mutual development of the economy with the other countries so that the people don't run away from their respective countries due to wars around them. This is the most important for the new government in the US. Hope we see this change. We should have more business and trade based relationships across the world.

Ukraine wanted to enter the nato as the consequence of the first russian invasion, if you don't know.
