After the first 100 days of Trump's presidency, things couldn’t be worse. His administration has been more gaffe-prone, incompetent and unstable than any other in American history. Trump has been engulfed in a scandal over his campaign’s links to Russia, his first choice for National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn, was forced to resign within weeks, and other senior officials remain under investigation for dodgy dealings with the Kremlin. And what of Trump’s key policies? Despite a Republican majority, his efforts to repeal Obamacare foundered in Congress, while his controversial ‘travel ban’ was deemed unconstitutional and blocked twice in the courts. Meanwhile, Trump has kept busy bragging about the size of his inauguration crowd and tweeting crackpot wiretapping allegations. And when it comes to foreign policy, he has been just as reckless and haphazard as his critics predicted. He has flip-flopped on NATO and has taken a bizarrely belligerent stance against longstanding allies such as Germany and Mexico. Make America great again? Quite the reverse - Trump is leading the USA towards disaster and decline.
That’s the hand-wringing liberals’ view of Trump, but have they got him right? In the eyes of his supporters, he’s the first president in history to actually follow through on his campaign promises. Trump pledged to shake up the system and put America first. He vowed to withdraw from disastrous trade deals which harm blue-collar workers like the Trans-Pacific Partnership, to protect America’s borders with hardline immigration policies and to get tough on China and North Korea. And that’s what he’s done. And while the Washington establishment has tried to block him at every step, he has prevailed. But moderates need not despair. Trump was initially deplored for his isolationist foreign policy, but he is proving himself to be remarkably flexible. He has finally reasserted American global leadership by enforcing the ‘red line’ against chemical weapons and retaliating against Assad’s barbaric attacks. After standing up to Assad and Russia where Obama never dared, Trump has proved himself to be no Kremlin lackey.
So will Trump restore America to greatness? Or will he send it to the dogs?

Sinessa I heard Al Gore asking for billions for green energies, every time a politician asks for a lot of money it triggers my alerts. not saying humans don't have an impact in the environment but much like the holocaust, I can see how you could take advantage of people's willingness to help the planet for your personal benefit

Here in Canada, we are used to American ignorance and arrogance; we're always forced to straddle between America and Europe; and except for the occasional brainwashed smalltown hoser, we know which side we'd rather lean on.

How come so many apparently politically interested and aware people decided to change their opinion from don’t know to against on the basis of one debate ? Have they been hiding away for a long time, so weren’t previously able to form an opinion ? They look as if they are mainly middle aged adults who you would expect to have pretty well formed opinions.

Politically expedient means something you do to advance yourself politically. Use expedient when you want to hint that a particular solution or strategy has certain benefits and advantages but is not completely fair.

What in the name of Donald Duck was that? One guy was Trump's long time friend, indebted to him no less, another rised interesting idea only to keep his silence afterwards, third, the woman who from the introduction seemed the most competent spoke more on emotions than facts (still the most competent of them all by far) and the last one was there only for his ethinicity, tragic backstory and absolutely purely emotional speaches. This is not IOsquared I am used to.

basically most of she said is equally valid for Obama and most of the presidents - what a surprise, politicians make lots of promises and do not fulfill them... although she should be happy that he does not, right? And finally she criticizes him that his strategy is no different from Obama's... what??? Funny how she was introduced - as a teacher of disinformation... quite so. Sure, drumpf is a puppet of establishment (see his nominations, goldmanistas like Mnuchin and rothschildians like Wilbur Ross) like Obama, just more funny, but that's the business as usual.

What bullshit written above. "Dealings with the Kremlin"---LOL Please, get real & stop being so naive. "Flip-flopped on Nato"----No he has not. He has been making the point that Europe needs to stop being parasites on the back of American tax payers, & he is spot on with that. Btw--Trump did have the 3rd largest worldwide audience for his inauguration. The AHCA was passed in Congress at the 2nd attempt & the abomination known as Obamacare will be consigned to history.
