However I condemn them for not asking why they are not subject to the same laws as everyone else. Also I don't like the rule that they have where you can't question a members motives for voting the ways they do. What this means is even if they know that members are catering to their coroprate donors in the ways they vote as opposed to the will of the people they were sent to represent. I am not at all surprised by such revelations. I said months ago that the GOP and Democratic leadership were not in favor of looking into past dealings of members of congress. The very thing the 1/6 commision is doing. This seems to be evident in their apprehension to pursue members that disregard their authority. The GOP has threatened to do the same to the left and it appears to be causing them to pause and think. Everyone on the committee and the DOJ need to do their duty and hold everyone that was involved accountable. They all took an oath and should comply with that oath. The DOJ and the Attorney General need to do their job under the law and the constitution. They should not allow crimes committed by congressmen or anyone else go unpunished.

Why wouldn't the Jan 6 committee not be allowed to subpoena a member of Congress? That would make no sense. That puts those in Congress above the law, same as the president. Pelosi decides to launch an investigation herself; Cheney and Kinzinger volunteer, and they are of course automatically derided as RINOs.
