But what is more important, is that even if the 1st Am was repealed, you still have that freedom because there is no enumerated power granted to Congress to legislate regarding religion. In fact, Hamilton argued it was preferable NOT to add the bill of rights as Art III gives SCOTUS jurisdiction over "matters arising under the constitution". Thus, since all amendments are considered for "all Intents and Purposes , as Part of this Constitution," SCOTUS now can claim original jurisdiction over the rights enumerated therein. Same goes with the 2nd Am.

For example, when people marched in DC, they got a permit. A person who is not violent and follows the law should never be convicted as a felon. It is considered blasphemous to add and remove text from the Holy Bible, as it misconstrues its overall message. The Bible even warns us against doing so, as it is stated in Deuteronomy 4:2, “You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it”. There is also warning in Revelations for this exact situation as well.

I am so thankful now that I pulled my children out of OK public schools. I am homeschooling them, based on the subjects they will need for success later. My oldest is autistic and I have to create lesson plans that meet her differing levels of knowledge. They weren’t able to accommodate her even with an IEP, except pulling her from class for 2 hrs to work on the subjects she struggled with, and then still expected her to complete at the same pace as her peers in regular classwork. The kids realized she was different and she was bullied… I have told my children that if they want to learn about different religions, we can make them into lessons (like I had in a world religions course in college) and come at them from a educational standpoint. This way they can learn about the history, mythos, the cultures that the religions started up in, etc… but we don’t have an organized religion that we subscribe to because I want my children to have the freedom to make their own choices. Religion should NEVER be mandated in public schools. If you choose to send your child to a private religious school then that’s your prerogative but don’t force your beliefs onto other children. It’s just wrong….💙🏳️‍🌈

For all religious scholars with a degree, a King James Only person commonly does not get their education from accredited universities that do offer degrees on religion theology, but through what some call basement colleges/seminars. They concern themselves with politics at the legal level to get their way, and it's some of the most odious stuff they want the power to enforce. They have a KJV apologetics bible that's by debunked and laughable "scholars" like Ted Cabal, who is a "scholar" at a school that accepts no transfer of credits from any religious school but their so called "accredited" religious schools. They hold "degrees" that are not like your standard associates or bachelors, and they only have weight within those religious circles. Most do not have the ability to even notice this, hell, I didn't even know of this fact until some atheist pointed this out. It's another level of insane that apologists will stay quiet about, because they would much rather you debate against their fundamentalist ideas (instead of that their education is not a credible education) because their existence is predicated upon their education being seen as credible and deserving of power. I've managed to talk to a few, and they all the time want to stop talking to me the moment I start talking about KJV Only apologia or their education being bullshit. I thought this was worth pointing out, because to demand the KJV of the Bible is absolutely insane, on top of the fact that they are demanding bibles in every classroom. It's already bad that they do not respect freedom of religion, it's even more bad that their version of religion they want comes at the cost of all other versions of Christianity too. This is the type of belief that if you were to swap some of these bibles out with more progressive interpretations, they would legally punish that person for subverting the KJV. It's literally that fucking insane of a belief system, and these people try to keep it quiet because they realize how insane their beliefs are, that they would rather operate with zero people knowing about where their beliefs originate from. They are more far right winged than most Southern Baptists. Southern Baptist Convention standards do not make claims that the KJV is the only correct interpretation, it's not even included in the list of translations they use in the first place. Use this info to your own benefit, it often is swept under the rug because if that is done, they'll use it to maintain their power more.
