They do however understand honor and sacrifice and believe what they are doing is noble. Despite the incorrect assumption of what the military stands for I do respect the selflessness it takes to be willing to put your life on the line for a cause you believe in. The fact that Trump is incapable at this point of even faking reverence to me shows that he’s having trouble keeping up the facade that he really cares about America as a country at all. I cannot stand idly by and participate in that attack, verbally or otherwise, on the American people, The American people trust their military and they trust us to protect them against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and our military will do just that. I find it unbelievable that, not only would they break that rule, but would get loud when politely asked to stop. My dad is nearly deaf due to his war service (70% VA disability for hearing loss alone) and was the only WW2 veteran on the tour who refused to get around by wheelchair. While at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier I could see we were going to be standing a long while, so as a "get 'er done" former Army sergeant myself I asked my "known" war-hero dad in a moderately loud voice if he needed a chair brought up to sit down.
