Oh so many years ago I went to see The Sound of Music with my elementary school class. I am now 67 and I have loved that movie ever since. This rendition of the song just blew my mind. It's so very good. I am amazed.

Sound Of Music was 1st film I saw in a theater. With ushers in uniform and flashlight to guide you to seat. The curtains and seats were red velvet with gold trim. The ceiling was painted blue with clouds like the sky. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. The theater was also and 1st a playhouse and then a movie theater. It was 1965. I was 4 years old. I still know every song by heart. My parents had the 33rpm long play vinyl record album. We played it on console stereo.

Love this.. I am still obsessed with this show at 58 years old. It was the first play I was in when I was 9. I played Marta, the first little one who sang. I remember watching this exact movie practicing for my part. Although the lyrics of the parody are better than the actual lyrics at this time.
