Australian here - I first became aware of this guy when he was interviewed on an Australia Show called "Planet America" and I am in agreement with you 100%. He raved on about how Trump was the "Master of the Deal" and would make things happen. Because we see this as an international we saw what Trump did with international deals. *HE MADE NONE, but he did tear up a few.* I was actually doing a project (I'm an engineer) in Canada in late 2017 when Trump tore up NAFTA and slapped the Canadians with tariffs. There is a large number of women fighter pilots. Women are more suited for fighter jets because the cockpits are small. Smaller sized men typically fly fighter jets, but this limits the talent pool. My point is this increases the military’s ability to fill “jobs” that are critical when women can apply for those pilot positions. As an AF veteran, women played a crucial role and continue to play a crucial role in the military’s growth, resiliency, and efficacy.

Eddie Gallagher just a side note ended up admitting to the very war crimes he was accused of committing after he was acquitted. He said on camera in a documentary after the trial that he performed combat medic procedures on a prisoner for practice. I’m not sure if he admitted to using civilians as target practice but performing stuff like that on prisoners is a war crime. The admiral from that time was shown the admission and said it was insane that it did not lead to another investigation.

They are the ones asking for weapons and capabilities to defend themselves. Every branch of our military has not met recruitment goals in years. We don’t have enough people willing to join because all of the benefits to join have been long ago cut. This guy wants to get rid of “diversity,” but diversity policies were meant to address the recruitment issues. I’m still waiting hear how trumps policies are going to address the recruiting issues. He seems to think they are going to put up a lot of cool ads or something. They won’t be able to get rid of women if there are no men to take their place. I need someone to address the “purge” and how are they going to recruit the type of people they want. They also have the issue that a lot of young people are not fit for service. The army has already had to design a pre-boot camp, because too many young people scored too low on the ASVAB or they were too overweight to serve. I’m not seeing the right things addressed when we talk about this issue. If they kick out all the gay people and women, they will have even less people to serve. I want someone to finally say that it looks like they may bring back the draft. To me, that looks like the only solution they are going to have left.

If the goal is to remake the military into the MAGA vision, you're going to have issues beyond the ethics and morality. Recruitment in general is going to suffer massively, because you're now talking about not pulling from 100% of the recruitable population (which was the primary point of gays/women in combat) but rather from maybe 30-40% of it at best. At a time when it's hard for the military to fill its ranks you want to cut the recruitment pool by around 60-70% and also push an ideology that discourages things like education and science - two things that you really need in the modern US military. For those who have complained about the size of the US military, well this is it. This kind of approach will 100% force a downsizing of the military across the board, because you're not going to have enough of the right people to do the jobs that need to be done. You'll have enough grunts - maybe - but for everything else you're going to be hurting.

Making money in politics in the US was generally pretty minimal after the 1880s until recently, really nothing beyond what happens in everyday networking, comparable to other developed democracies. The sad part that set us apart from other countries has long been campaign finance -- the conservatives on the Supreme Court have, ever since Republicans gained control of the Court back in 1970 (and they've held it ever since), been pushing the garbage that money is free speech and corporations are people and so that is how our government has become tilted toward corporations and against ordinary people. But Jared Kushner extracting $2 billion from the Saudis in return for them getting a green light for all kinds of stuff that's harmful to US interests, in order to cover himself for his stupid investment on 666 Park Avenue and diversify into venture capital was something completely new, the grift on a scale previously only seen in places like Communist and Fascist states and oil emirates. Now it looks like this scale of corruption is rolling out all across the government -- no disclosure of who is paying for the transition, the first time that's ever happened; a return to the spoils system for the civil service that contributed to the divisions behind the Civil War and made 19th century America so spectacularly corrupt and led directly to Garfield's assassination as president; and who knows what for Elon Musk. It reduces America to being something you can bribe; while countries that want a stable and predictable ally that's not for sale by way of flattery and bribery will increasingly turn to China instead as being the least bad of a bunch of terrible options. What we're doing now in America with this turn to Trump is how great powers collapse. We're effectively choosing Russian-style oligarchy, where a bunch of billionaires get a license to loot the public in return for fawning over the leader.

Banana has natural latex. If you are allergic best case you itch like mad for a few days worst case you go into shock after a few minutes and your kidneys starts to shut down. Avocado is another particularly large offender as well but a slew of berries & fruit are problematic. I have it , it is why non latex gloves exist for restaurant workers. Tends to pair with penicillin allergies.

I have an extreme aversion to bananas, based on a childhood trauma. I eat almost anything, but bananas make me gag. If I had the power, I would ban them from my vicinity. I have met other banana phobics. It seems to be a thing, that the taste and smell of bananas is precisely titrated to become revolting. Plantains are fine, as indeed is artificial banana flavour, even though that is what triggered my phobia. As for potassium, avocados have much more than bananas.

I get the banana thing, I have a physical response that I cannot control, it instantly makes me gag and vomit if I smell banana peels and sometimes banana depends on how ripe it is. I don't know if it's an allergy but it can be really annoying when someone eats a banana around me.

I love tarantulas, but this was very much poaching. spiders are a keystone species-especially these tarantulas in Peru which are a protected species given the long lifespan, late sexual maturity and infrequent breeding of female tarantulas.

Bananas are cross reactive with latex in terms of allergy and can be serious. Potatoes are a great source of potassium, especially if the peels are left on.
