When I get my tax assessment in the mail it doesn’t have a blank line that says “write in amount here”… it’s got an amount based on a valuation they came up With and a rate table that applies to my property. When I got to the bank they might possibly ask me an assets value, or maybe my net income… but no matter what I write down, they verify that info before the do any lending. The entire theory is ridiculous. It never happened and will fall on appeal as soon as any serious judge looks at the case. The NY appellate division heard the bond appeal in record time… wonder why?
