The Judge sees the problem with the reposts is that trump made was that he didn't quote the repost word for word... they are not actual quotes by definition. Pull the tape from fox. They are rephrased in trump's words even though he put quotation marks around his personal wording. There maybe some argument if he had quoted the articles word for word, but again the judge asked the defense to come up with some legal precedent.

That's not what he's charged with., He's facing trial for falsifying business records. Trump is facing trial for the "fraud" he conspired to commit then committed & then committed again in an attempt to cover up the first crime. Trump is facing trial in Manhattan for "fraud", this isn't about New York, this is about a man named Donald Trump whom committed fraud in Manhattan so is facing trial in Manhattan., It is secondary to the charges that he happened to be POTUS at a time. As for the statutory time limit, Trump was charged with the crimes he committed to cover up the previous crimes.
