Trump says abortion is a states issue | Morning in America

Former President Donald Trump said Monday it'd be best if states handled abortion the way their constituents want. He said he's in favor of exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother. He also said he "strongly" supports fertility treatments.

Two weeks ago, he said he wanted to set a federal limit of 16 weeks because it's a 'nice round number'. Last week, he said 15 weeks. Now he's saying it should be up to the states. Back in 2016, he said women who have abortions should face criminal charges. He can't be trusted on this or any other issues.

I don’t understand why women are subjected to rules and regulations of a state about things related to their bodies. There are many other instances where someone would need to abort outside of the so called approved list. If the embryo has been detected to have a seriously debilitating condition that would affect the life of it and everyone in the family and so many other similar situations. A woman should have the right to choose what they do with their bodies. No man or men should have that right outside of the mother and father. This is an invasion of privacy and it also affects those who are struggling to have children as well. People are so weird they want to control people and things that have nothing to do with them personally. Knowing that if they were placed into any situation where they would have to make a decision that would affect a pregnancy they would be forced to have a child that may not make it or have so many long term issues that it would financially ruin them. They would be wondering why the state is invading their privacy…

So again I am not dehumanizing anything I am stating facts. No man can gestate period. So men should not be forming any rules around what or how a woman should be allowed to fully gestate. If men could gestate these ridiculous rules would not exist because the understanding of the process and how it affects the body would make everyone have the same mindset.
