Elie Mystal told Face the Nation that, under the 12th Amendment, tRump can steal the election, by convincing republicans to delay certification, missing the December deadline, and one of two things would happen: tRump would be deemed victorious by (still republican) house or republicans would make VP Harris lose enough electoral votes to deem tRump the victor. We have to know what the chances of this succeeding are and if there’s anything we can do to prevent it.

The thing is, there is plenty of money for all the programs that Americans deserve, if only they taxed the wealthy a fair amount. Republicans have it now, so that billionaires pay about 8% of their income in federal taxes. That is about one third what the average American family pays. In fact they should be paying much more, because they would be nothing without the 250 years of Americans working for everything provided to them to be a success.
