The Kabul Airlift that occurred while the Taliban were taking over rescued over 122K people in a few weeks. This was a multinational effort but the US rescued 82K of that 122K alone. That is historic. I wonder if this had happened during Trump's administration would McMaster and Lowry be framing the withdrawl as a historic disaster or historic rescue?
