‘Trump trade’: Potential reelection of Donald Trump could impact global markets

Global markets were lifted earlier this week by what some investors on Wall Street have described as the ‘Trump trade’.
Investors seem to think former US president Donald Trump may win the upcoming presidential election which could result in Mr Trump cutting taxes and introducing tariffs.
State Street Global Advisors Jonathan Shead joined Sky News Australia to discuss what a Donald trump reelection could potentially mean for markets in the US and across the world.
“There is a bit of a 'Trump trade' around possible inflation and things like that,” he told Sky News Business reporter Edward Boyd.
