Trump supporters are the definition of valuing feelings over facts.
@triumph29928 жыл бұрын
Please... I hate Trump as much as the next guy but all base groups are about feelings over facts. Liberals are swarming with them too and they got so obnoxious over the last 8 years that many people chose this clown as their voice for change. It takes an enlightened person to ignore what they *feel* is best for them and base their decision strictly on facts. There are many intelligent people who voted for Trump because he spoke to their concerns... whether that will be good for the majority remains to be seen (doesn't look good imo) Additionally; Stating Trump supporters don't listen to facts is such a harmful statement. If you cast such a board stroke over everything they stand for, people will dismiss your opinion because it is based on a feeling. Although much of what Trump said was somewhat to completely false, he did touch on some truth, which is all people need to hear to ignore or rebel against statements such as "Trump supporters are the definition of valuing feelings over facts." Here in Canada we retired the penny, so in regard to my "two cents"... it's really not worth anything.

MySecretMessages Liberterianism is not a valid party politic, i agree. Libertarianism is the republican opinion of the Democratic party (ie let people decide for themselves). In a sense, and maybe my bias delays this realization of it but its also the Democratic opinion of the Republican party (ie let the people elect who they want). but irregardless (personal favorite word), the philosophy of letting people do what they want is the self-evident trait of yelling from a bullhorn to attract a crowd. If Democrats had had a wide tent at one point, and Republicans are the voice of the silent majority, then Libertarianism is the cheap wedge that divides them. I don't see leadership in the ethos of "do what you want". But I do see the trappings of a cult in the ideology that people will settle their own matters and they themselves must deal with their own misgivings. That's a soap opera not politics. Politics is what to do with people once they're done with denying climate change and how to bring them to information and away from disinformation, not to simply allow for disinformation to settle in the name of fair and balanced vivicide or geocide in the name of liberty. And if that sounds high-minded, maybe TMZ and GMA have been running headlines too long.

I'm not sure why you put that comment on this video rather than one about healthcare or doctors or insurance, and the rather broken English you speak in despite implying you live in either US or UK adds to that to make this seem kind of sketchy. But more appropriately and accurately, he's shown us that he can keep us distracted with what he's so willing to show us that he does wrong, while he just keeps doing it. No one has stopped him, except judges. I gather he barely cares about that - he's just wasting the country's time with his power trip, and afterwards, he'll latch on to anything that will be stupid enough to have to listen to him, just like he's always done before. He's not smart enough to play the country - he just knows people at large are too stupid to stop his utterly moronic nonsense.
