And nobody is really helping them. And people who want to help (people like Bernie Sanders) can't get into prominent places of power because the last generation is preventing that from happening. Yeah, a lot of them have become brats and are approaching these issues non-constructively. But this was a long time coming. The system isn't meant to help them. Hillary Clinton actually won the popular vote, yet she lost. This isn't the first time this happened. Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000, but again lost to Bush. And look how that turned out. And that happened 2 other times. That, at its core, isn't very democratic if the person who keeps winning is the person who most people *don't* vote for (mostly Republican administrations). I think it's unfair to just claim the whole generation is being given a bad name. On the surface yeah. But whose been pulling the strings for the last 50 years, creating this situation in the first place?

I gave concessions to the poor ways people are handling it aka rioting. But they've been trying to use the system to help themselves, and it hasn't been working. It's not good, but it's no surprise they are acting out in such a manner. So I think it is important to look at and address the underlying issues, and not only chastise them for being "whiny".
