Thank you for your videos! For a very long time, I have felt like the proverbial man without a country. I am mostly a 'live and let live' person. That is until you mess with children. I am a proud mother of 3 and grandmother of 6 wonderful people. I am also a preschool teacher. About 25 years ago, a family member transitioned surgically (at the age of 47) and is now living a fulfilling life. So I am not a stranger to all of this. But as I began to hear about gender affirming care and transitioning for young people I became concerned. I quickly found myself in a quandary. I couldn't discuss my concerns with my conservative friends because "It's wrong. It's just wrong and I don't want to even think about." And I couldn't discuss my concerns with my liberal friends because "Don't be such a bigot." I just wanted to navigate all of this without rhetoric and with understanding of both viewpoints. I felt as though I had been robbed of my voice. Then I found your videos. Hearing your experiences and your response to the current environment not only helped me feel understood, it gave me back my voice. Thank you.

I started following this channel because I really liked the interviews with the detransitioners. Not only did it bring attention to the harmful practices of giving our youth puberty blockers and hormones but it was done in a compassionate and heartfelt way. The guests were interesting, insightful, and well-spoken. They we're thought-provoking, even for those who are more to the left. And while my partner and I both like to poke fun at the ridiculousness of the same people you do, it seems like the channel is becoming more about mocking people than it is helping people. I always viewed you as a compassionate dude, and still do, but think perhaps the accolades from those who are entertained by easy targets being ridiculed/laughed at unkindly has caused you to do more of that and less of the other. Don't get me wrong, like I said, I like to poke fun and sometimes get myself in trouble for it, but there is a fine line and I definitely have a limit. Even if I cross that line from time to time, at least it's not so publicly or done mean spiritedly. I'm sure I'll get flack for this comment but I'm actually saying it more for you than for myself as I would appreciate it if somebody brought this to my attention so that I could reflect on whether I might be taking things a little too far as us humans will do from time to time. So please receive this with love and care, knowing that I do enjoy a bit of teasing and wouldn't want it to completely stop 🖤

Totally agree. I am definitely more left leaning than Buck but like to hear from other perspectives, but I wish we were seeing both sides a bit more. There are a lot of genuine reasons people are worried about trump such as his treatment of women and Jan 6 etc. not that we need to debate that right now, but I think it’s valid and I wish we were hearing people out a *little* more instead of just saying anyone upset about trump is a crazy liberal. @isseysherman1350 honestly, as far as politics go, I think the far left is not very different from the far right in many ways these days. I see both spewing hatred and intolerance at their perceived opposition/each other. From the middle, both sides seem to have lost their minds. I abandoned the two-party, divisive system 4 elections ago after doing a lot of research. Let me just put it this way, without going off on a tangent (lol), there's a reason they make it impossible for a third-party candidate to become president when, at the end of the day, there is so much middle ground to be found, and most reasonable people fall somewhere closer to the middle, whether they be a but more to the left or a bit more to the right. I don't mind poking fun a little bit, I do that to myself as well. But when (consistently) making entire episodes aimed at laughing and attacking others, it begins to make that person look no better. I wasn't happy when all three, the President, the Senate, and the State went red as there needs to be checks and balances. It would not think it good if all three went blue either. But hopefully the left, instead of blaming the right, will reflect on why so many people who didn't like Trump, held their nose and voted for him anyway, and then do something different so the left can become more moderate again. Perhaps that would force the right to do the same if they were to lose the next time. Oops, now look, I went on a rant anyway. I apologize for the long response. I appreciate the conversation. May we all use this election as a push to become better people, regardless of what side of the aisle one finds themselves on. Be well and choose kindness whenever possible :)
