I remember hearing about it in health class. Unfortunately that health class was a little too late because it was in sixth grade, and I had already gone through the worst part of puberty in fifth grade. It doesn't help that autistic related social and emotional delays as well as sensory issues don't play nicely with puberty or the female cycle at all. Not to mention the raging hormones that all teenagers get regardless of whether they are developmentally ready to deal with them or not. My cycle played hell with my sensory issues for decades until I got on birth control for PMDD which affects autistic women disproportionately.

There is no way to go back. That's part of what makes these surgeries so dangerous. People have to understand the role of surgeons. They are not supposed to be people's primary healthcare person, so they aren't going to follow along with these pts for years. They should attempt to fix any issues that result from this surgery, but the, many are out of their depth with complications and aren't humble enough to bring the case to a different specialist. There is also an inherent disincentive to admit to any complications because all surgeons want to "keep their stats up".

Hi Buck. I have a sibling who’s autistic, 16 years old, and believes they are a trans-man. I’m suspicious it’s more to do with feeling discomfort in their own body due to autism. When she went into school one day, they put a set of pronouns on her desk. She came home saying “I’m non binary”, that then changed to “I’m a trans man”. It just came out of the blue one day. The doctor did a 30 minutes assessment and handed over the papers for my parents to consent to Lupron (hormone blocker). My parents haven’t signed the papers. The psychiatrist has now blocked my parents from participating in appointments because where I’m from there is no age for medical consent. If my parents want to participate in these appointments they must have permission from my sister. This is what’s happening Buck.
@BuckAngelOfficial5 ай бұрын

@billiemunchen5 ай бұрын
Please tell your parents to look up the smpc (summary of product characteristics) for the different forms of Lupron, check which conditions and which kinds of patients it's approved for (NOT for transition!!!), and what the side effects have been in the patient groups they have studied (NOT physically healthy people who used this for transition). Your parents should ask whether your sister's use, which would be experimental, is part of a clinical trial and if so, what the clinical trial number is and where they can find all the official documents from the FDA about this clinical trial. Your parents will learn and should try to get your sister to see that puberty blockers have ONLY been approved for precocious puberty (a physical health condition where a very young child starts puberty, before age 9 for boys and 8 for girls or something along those lines) and for adults with certain types of cancer or severe endometriosis, and in those cases they try to only use the drug for a short period of time like some months, NOT years, due to the risks of (severe) side effects. I think these drugs work on the brain, so this shouldn't be taken lightly. There's other ways your sister can minimise the effects of female puberty: she could perhaps go on a form of birth control where she can reduce her periods or even temporarily stop them (this is also by using drugs and this should be carefully thought about too!), she can work out targeted areas/do specific workouts to get a more androgynous body for instance by working on losing any excess ph. at if she's currently larger, weight training for her upper body etc. She can experiment with fashion to find a style and type of garments that minimise areas of the body she doesn't like, and she would do well to meet adult lesbians and adult tomboys to learn it's ok to be a masculine woman, that it's ok to be gay.
@billiemunchen5 ай бұрын
Also: if I were your parents, and also you if you feel like it, I'd keep a diary/logbook of all of this for future reference if your sister finally comes around and starts blaming y'all for not protecting her, etc.

no, you know why they wont get to prison right away. People believe in consent until the consent form is signed. These adults or parents of children signed consent forms. If you do NOT hold the ones accountable for signing the consent. Do you know what consent forms do??? They cover the doctors butt for liability. Im sure you have signed several consents in your lifetime. Does it excuse the doctors? No but it does remove responsibility to some capacity. Doctors cant perform any surgery without consent forms. However every person has the opportunity to say no to surgery before any forms are signed. That choice is never taken away. People always want to blame the doctor but never the one who chose it and consented, literally never. I always see people want doctors held accountable only. You will never see things change if you dont hold the person who consented accountable. The parents are 100% accountable for their children and if they continue as adults, then it falls onto their shoulders as adults. They're essentially already breaking the oath to do no harm but its become socially accepted by many to do so. If you know anything about law and medicine. Doctors and any medical personnel have medical malpractice insurance and they pay a LOT for this. They have this insurance because people would want to charge them for just about anything, even if its within the bounds of ethical medical practice. They also have really good lawyers. So it would be a case that would spend a lot of time in court rooms. Choices ALWAYS have consequences and when you consent to these treatments. It doesn't come free of consequence for either party. Sometimes I think the lifetime patient is a consequence enough. However I dont believe anyone should die at the hands of doctors and failing the patient in their hands, I want to be very clear about that. This individual did not deserve to lose their life and sadly it make take these cases to turn another page that society is refusing to admit to right now; of what consequences are there of these surgeries.

As he got older he was confused about who he loved. I told him I didn’t care if he dated boys or girls, I would still love him to pieces. Maybe confused isn’t the right word. I know my brother in law couldn’t handle the fact that his son might be bi. He actually hated the notion. And told him so on many occasions. So it might’ve been fear of what his parents would do if they found out his truth. The kids I’ve worked with have been through similar situations though not necessarily going through what my nephew has. But the stories are similar in that someone treats them differently because of who they are. And none of it right. Even if any of them do make this choice, they deserve to be treated with respect. To botch a surgery like that and then not care for him after these so-called doctors ruined his life and health is beyond comprehension.

Transexual woman here. Yes...a therapist is a great thing, but, is only one piece of the puzzle to dealing with gender dysphoria. It also depends on what therapist you go to. The first one I went to was a certified psychologist. She pushed hormones on me within 35 minutes of meetings her. However, the second person I saw was a therapist. Yes she was liberal, which made me skeptical, but she never once pushed anything on me. We were there to figure out why I was having those feelings and we went over everything about my past that I could think of. We left no stone unturned. She never once said I was transgender. Your child needs to find a therapist that will help them figure themselves out, one way or another. It's not about convincing your child if they are transgender, or convincing them they are not. It's about seeking mental and emotional counseling to make sure the decision they are making is right for them. Convincing someone who is a transexual that they are not a transexual, is just as damaging as convincing someone who is not a transexual that they are one.

Some folks in the USA get cheap surgeries done abroad then return home too quickly, resulting in complications (aka disasters.) And did he actually refuse any repair options doctors needed to do ? Some things cannot simply be 'put back' once removed. I ask these questions because I know someone for whom this became a reality. He made a hasty decision, flew to South Asia for surgery, returned to deal with infections and a huge amount of regret that the work could not just be 'put back.' Sadly, he chose to take his own life. B., RIP. We need to go back to 'transitions' being rare, adult only, and surgery being preceded by YEARS of mental counseling and therapy.

What a surgeon creates to replace your removed male appendage IS NOT A V@GINA and what a surgeon takes out of your female body and replaces with some grafted skin and a pump IS NOT A P3N!S. Transgenderism is clearly a real thing but it's rare and people who truly have these feelings and have body dysmorphia have to first and foremost get a highly qualified therapist to help figure things out, and move on after that with medical transition if that's the best course to take. And by medical transition I am NOT talking about bottom surgery. If top surgery is needed to alleviate the distress associated with body dysmorphia then by all means that's something to work though with your therapist before making a final decision on that.

It sounds like it would end up like the folds of obese people's skin, getting fungal and bacterial infections because skin does not do well when it stays wet/moist and touching other skin. @riariaria5 ай бұрын
@@GiraffeLoverJen The medically misleading definition of AFFIRMING care is kinda my point. The medical community has abandoned providing the care needed to help patients come to terms with their biological gender. They are no longer even trying to do this. Instead they’re affirming children’s false and likely transient beliefs with treatment protocols that are irreversible, largely experimental and carry with them very high rates of complications and adverse events like cancer, cardiovascular disease and more. True persistent Gender Dysphoria is exceedingly rare and the medical community’s participation in medically transitioning large numbers of gender confused kids while ignoring their underlying neurological, emotional, social or psychiatric needs is unconscionable and unethical. They are taking physically healthy children and turning them into permanent patients who will always be dependent on the medical system to treat their artificially created life long chronic medical condition. These permanent patients will also most likely require ongoing medical interventions to address the damage done to their bodies and to treat developing illnesses resulting directly from this “Affirming Care”.

Buck! Well done! Thank you for being a resounding & positive voice on this issue! I’m standing giving you an ovation & a nod of gratitude & encouragement. Please don’t stop standing for truth! I’m a veteran professional educator and I cringe at the way the world is regressing. YOU are a reason for me to have hope that things can turn around for the better. This is a precedent conversation that you’ve lead and you are making a monumental difference. I’m proud of you! A+!

I actually scrolled across something similar to what you’re talking about at 4:59 on Facebook last night. A trans woman made her last post on Facebook talking about how she wishes she was happy and apologizing to her ex wife and kids. And then her obituary was shared 3 days later. Very sad.

The trans activists are as guilty as the medical profession who are as guilty as the politicians. Years ago I said that lawyers will be rubbing their hands together. I have a teenager and have had to deprogram her on a regular basis so she remains grounded in reality. This stuff is rammed down their throats every day. The schools are on the bandwagon, social media etc etc. All guilty Maranatha

As an autistic person, I can also vouch for the experience of discomfort in my own body. Thankfully(?), I was born in the 80s and this sort of rhetoric wasn’t being pushed for profit during my teenage years when I struggled with my mental health and developing female body. This was LONG before I knew I was autistic. I was diagnosed this year after years of internal and external struggles. There is a part of me that is very much at odds with the adult female version of my body, as I have always been very sensory and easily overwhelmed by attention. Adding puberty, and the sexualization that society brings with it, amplified that discomfort that I still deal with to this day. Although it has become easier to manage now that I am aware I am on the spectrum. Had I been a teenager during this current time, I could certainly have seen myself becoming confused about my gender identity and believing myself to be trans and “experiencing gender dysphoria,” since a lot of my awareness and discomfort are around my female sex organs, especially my breasts. But it’s not because I am uncomfortable being a woman, it’s because I’m uncomfortable in my adult body and being perceived by the world (that latter part has always been). I’ve always been a “tomboy” that had to grow into feeling comfortable in being perceived as a “woman,” but it has nothing to do with my gender identity or being trans, if that makes sense. It is because I am autistic. Now, obviously I can’t speak for every autistic person, this is just my personal experience. But I have often thought my discomfort in my body growing up during this time could have had dire consequences and my heart goes out to Yarden, his family, and all who suffer from misdiagnosis. It is a real thing! I grew up in an era where trans people had to fight for their rights, like Buck has stated, and were medically vetted by multiple professionals for what seems like YEARS before transitioning in with the goal of passing or being stealth. The way trans identity has been turned into a fast food industry of gender reassignment for profit by the medical industry at the expense of human lives is deeply concerning. And I also want to say, I allow for there to also be valid trans autistic people, but I think the number of people identifying as “trans” is a huge problem because I don’t believe all of them are trans, but dealing with many other mental health issues, unresolved trauma, and/or sexual kinks, as Buck has stated in many videos.

@@seewobble7048 no, at night when I try to sleep, I have trouble because I hear the cries of the perishing. I have to tell people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. @seewobble7048 It’s not a cult. It’s a way of life, depending wholly on God and Jesus for your redemption by His sacrifice on the Cross. It’s a choice, a gift that you can accept. I would like to add though, there are cults who use the name of Christ to control their subjects. Also, even if you think believing in Jesus is a cult, there is no justification for mutilating children.

Yarden’s story brought me to tears. It’s heartbreaking 💔 that he had to live his last few years or months in horrific agony, suffering and loneliness. He’s dead and those doctors are still free to do as they please to young adults that really are children as you said Buck. They took advantage of Yarden and mutilated him, then when he begged for them to fix their mistakes, he was ignored. Surely a family member that loved him could do something??? Thank you Buck for always shining a light on stories like Yardens. It’s sad that his life ended su tragically 😔 ❤
