As a queer woman, I don't like Trump. I would easily vote 2016 Trump over 2024 Trump, though. I don't want senile old men in office, simple as that. But only time will tell if this will be an unproductive four years or not. ..... lmao I commented before finishing. Everyone has the right to vote for whoever they want. I find myself unfollowing so many mutuals every election season because they decide to shame anyone who wasn't comfortable voting or voted third party. It's just like you said, people shame others for not voting, but if they vote third party or choose the person they like the most they're just as bad. It's so fucking hypocritical. Election years have been a joke since 2012. At least then the tactic wasn't fear mongering and/or attacking the opponent.

Daniel, regarding the point you made about late-term abortion, you should look up ectopic pregnancies. Late term abortions only happen because the mother's health is at risk, which can kill both the mother and the child. Ectopic pregnancies are a common reason why this happens. It is a tragedy but this is why women's rights need to be protected, abortion bans kill women

On a serious note….the best thing that could happen is that (despite opposition from people/donors of either party) the newly elected administration (and president) decide to govern with a decisive combo of social-conservatism (related to immigration/boarder-control, but staying away from evangelism for example) and economic-leftism (related to enabling the lower class to do better, without going in a full on “socialism” direction). But that’s prob asking too much of Trump & the cabinet he will elect
