in the 10,000 dollar tournament they participated in each level they clicked on was gold instead of purple.. I feel like if you complete each area with every class + deck + hero power it turns gold instead

To do all 5 wings with all 9 heroes and all decks and heropowers (minimum 4 wins) in both normal and heroic, it'd take a minimum of 360 wins. With the average game taking 25 to 35 minutes, thats 180 hours of gameplay (7.5 days). It's only half if you don't plan on doing it on heroic, which is what I'm planning on doing. Finished the first 3 heroes on chapter 1 yesterday, working on chapter 2 today.

I've only done this with the first 3 on the first chapter. To do it with all 9 heroes in all 5 chapters, it requires a minimum of 180 wins, not including heroic. I wish anyone luck attempting it.

The Henchmen were good - really good - but really, what made that deck so OP was Robes + Scepter (and getting them in the ideal order, too - Scepter *then* Robes - as that actually discounts the cards in your starting hand to 2 or less; if you get it the other way around your starting hand just gets the Robes treatment as after that goes off, they never cost more than 5), as well as getting a freaking Alexstrasza to neuter bosses that usually have 60+ HP. XD

@30:40 "Why is a blue dragon in the Violet Hold?" I thought Trump played during Wrath. Cyanigosa wasn't a prisoner or allied with Dalaran, she was in fact leading a prison break on Malygos' behalf to attack Dalaran... but she was the final boss of the Violet Hold dungeon. In Hearthstone lore, I guess that means she was imprisoned there for EVIL's prison break later.

19:43 I think the Robes/Scepter interaction depends on the order in which you pick them. If you pick Scepter, then Robes, you get what Trump gets, where minions above 5 are set to 5, then halved to 2. If you pick Robes, then Scepter, the Scepter is useless, unless you have minions that cost >5 mana.

I think the interaction's a little weird. I believe it still works in the desired order, but only for the minions in your deck... not the ones in your starting hand

Redzeths you get 16 packs, I mean if you talk about value buying it for 19.99 is good for just the card packs alone. Even if you have to wait a few weeks, you get 1600 dust free as well. The adventure is fun, and you can get it for free as well without spending money. I don’t see the issue here.

Ha, just noticed. Captured Flag basically gives you a Wax Elemental (arguable best treasure from Dungeon Run) if you can manage to get a Recurring Villain. As with the Waxy, double Deathrattle would also be crazy in such a build. Plus Captured Flag is one of the best passives anyway, so it's a good choice, and then any Recurring Villains you can get are just gravy on top (though I've not actually seen an RV in a bucket, so perhaps they didn't include it for that very reason).

Cyanigosa was the original last boss of the violet hold encounter and she is kept captive in there cause she is a member of the Blue Dragonflight forces controlled by malygos, whos plan was to eradicate all sources of magic from azeroth except his own (basically killing all living creatures and only letting his suboordinates survive) wich failed.

My best deck so far: Deck: - Class: Hunter, - Hero power: Add a 1/1 to your hand - Deck: Leftmost base deck (doesn't really matter) - Maximize your 1-drops whenever offered between bosses. Powers: - All your minions costs 1 less - Goggles (Leftmost card costs 2 less) Artifact: - 4 mana 7/7* - replace ALL minions (board, deck, hand) with random legendary minions *Buffed to always start in your hand Turn 1: Play 2-3 1-drops for 0 mana and make them all legendaries (the 7/7 costs 1 because you start with it, causing it to be on the very left side). At the same time destroy all synergy the boss may have with its hero power/cards. Could also go turn 2 if you don't draw any 1-drops, so that you can hero power turn 1 and 2 before playing the 7/7 Crushed the heroic stage 2 and killed the last 3 bosses on turn 5 or 6 with no problems :D

Hey stargazing is SUPER GOOD if you have the mage hero power that lowers the cost of a minion by 2 and it normaly costs 1 so it will cost 0 and you can do it twice

Star gazing is actually pretty good if you take the mage hero power that reduces a card cost by 2. It's free and you can use it twice, so you can get a permanent 4 mana discount each turn, for free. On the others though, i can see why it'd be underpowered :P But who knows, hopefully the other heroes later down the line have some cool powers. I'd love for the druid to have some kind of treant summoning one.

Cyanigosa appeared as the final boss in the Wrath of the Lich King version of the Violet Bastion. Back then, the blue dragonflight was led by Malygos, who was crazy and paranoid about mortals wasting Azeroth's magic, so he started a war against the mortal races of Azeroth and ended dying in a raid where he was the only boss. Cyanigosa, as she said at the start of her encounter, was sent to Dalaran to free the prisoners and then conquer Dalaran. Oh, and as a fun fact, her "mortal form" was a blood elf. Also yes, is female, "gosa" is for the female blue dragons, "gos" is for males.

Cyanigosa is the final boss of the Violet Hold (at least, back in Wrath; I don't think they've updated it since but who knows); I can't remember exactly why she's invading the Violet Hold (the dungeon involves fighting 18 waves of blue dragonkin that she's sent to break out the inhabitants), but she would have been doing so under the order of Malygos, who at this point was pretty darn mad.

The game does keep track of what you have won with with crowns and check marks so go for true 100% completion, single player is funner then constructed anyway. :P

I got the 5 mana 6,1 weapon with deathrattle that summon all minion killed by it in the whole game among with Anomaly - Rattling, I beat every boss in heroic so easily, even the void boss. Also I have Robes of Guardiness and Prince's Ring, my deck is big and not swamy, I got Death's shadow death knight hero power, so double weapon lol, op as heck (Too bad no alex in deck tho lol)

Just to let you know, I've lost against Heroic Linzi as a Shaman on the first encounter. *Thrice* ! *In a row* ! You only win if you get a good random minion that can hit her face 2 or three times. (that was on my 4th go...) Don't bother to ask nerfs, Blizzard will state is intended - "It's Heroic" after all.

I thought the dragon boss was hard, steamrolled with infinite cheap murlocs (won some games on turn 4) and died miserably to her because the small health minions just melted to the hero power. I guess if you get every single good cost reduction on your big stuff and guarantee godlike draw you don't really need any more tempo.
