I honestly couldn't tell the difference between normal and heroic for most bosses. Maybe like 5 of them I notices a real difference.

A lot of them just have 0 cost hero powers instead of 1 cost, so it makes a subtle difference for some.

While this is true for many of them, freaking Haro Setting-Sun or whatever his name is... goes from being as easy as the rest of them on normal, to a legit run killer on heroic (passive that neuters the attack of all your minions by 2, and a solid res priest deck that even manages to find room for Mind Control). I've not managed to encounter him with any of the broken combos in heroic (such as Jade Goggles + the Hagatha turn into legend treasure), but having done both chapters on heroic with each class, I have encountered him a few times - and despite having strong decks that crushed every other boss each time, I was soundly defeated. I mean, don't get me wrong. It's totally fine to have one of the enemies be like that, it's just brutal how much harder he is than every other boss in the first 2 chapters (I believe the difficulty stems from the kind of deck that works very well against pretty much every other boss - high tempo - not working well against him due to his passive, giving him enough time to massively outvalue you).

Some have simply just better decks or a better deck and better hero power. For the example, the griphon have the deck full of 1 1 that summon bigger minion so he will always give you 1 1 when his passive trigger. In normal mode he doesn't have as many. Another example will the one who give extra battlecry trigger for the next battlecry. The hero power cost 0 and his deck also have better battlecry minions than the not heroic one.

now, add a tony to that... I actually had all the pieces for that combo on my last heroic run, sadly I never drew the coldarra drake before winning... The ridiculous tempo was... ridiculous. Most boss didn't even make it to turn 10. The -1 cost x2 usage treasure and the 2nd mage hero power together just breaks the game.

I Think One Of The Rogue Decks Had Augmented Elekk. I Went Against Jeppeto Joybuzz With Fly-by, And some card (Couldn't tell you which) to duplicate Elekk, and Cast fly-by. I think, over two turns, i did it twice. He Had Six Copies Of Kadoom Bot In His Deck. 100 damage In One Turn.

It's hard to do that when the deck you're using against them was built by rng. They have to be tuned down a little so it doesn't feel like you can only win with a god run, although I agree that they could be buffed from their current state.

I had the one boss that summons two 2/2 treants with taunt for 2 mana. It was so OP. It did that every turn. and then it used the card to turn them into 5/5's.

Love all the comments about how heroic mode is not "hard." As some one who plays adventure modes pretty much exclusively on HS, there is a BIG difference between the two modes. You just have to play them more to figure them out. If it's as easy as you say it is, play it multiple times, use different treasures, and challenge yourself! You'll find it to become fun again!

I love how players mistake easy heroic mode for perfect treasures that match your buckets. That is the only way you can beat all bosses in heroic mode. Even then there are monkey wrenches. Had a perfect run spoiled by the guy that buys a card for a coin when I could only play two cards a round....it burns the flesh.

Overall this heroic run, thus far, seems far easier the past ones(being single battle bosses instead of "runs). Whereas at least a quarter of the past ones have no more than a quarter win rate, this one seems to only take 1-3 tries, generally once you unlock some of the better hero power after the first 1-2 you are much better off. That said, this does make some sense. As chances are if you lose, you will mostly do so at the 6th to 8th encounter. This is quite time consuming. So if the final boss were less than 25% win, it can end up being REALLY grindy.

I disagree, The hero power is better against certain decks so buffing it because Trump's mana curve is lower than usual is a dumb idea. Certain bosses are good and bad against certain decks, you can't just base them off a single game.

Even in the worst case scenario, she's still pulling your low-costed cards in the early game, and then basically handing them to you. She makes it very difficult to have a bad hand. Usually she wastes all her mana on it and gets garbage. I think making it free is a totally fine buff.

At least in my opinion, the other heroes are easier. Snek hero has 2 mana normal totems, 2 mana transform a friendly minion into one that costs 1 more, 1 mana draw a card (overload 1)

I got the rush treasure and the hero power cost reduction treasure with the evolve power. Super OP. Play a minion, value trade, evolve for one mana, trade again, evolve again. Made the run very easy.

@@TehHoboGod To join the OP run log, I had a mage run with the 1 mana hero power that discounts cards with rush minions and hero power costs 1 less and use it twice a turn. Every turn I'd more or less gain 4 extra mana and I just picked huge minions to just overwhelm the bosses

Why are the heroic bosses so bad.... atleast togwaggle should've had something like recruit two minions from your opponents deck or recruit higher costs. When have heroic bosses not been unfair? Even the witchwood had harder bosses then the heroic versions of these ones

It depends on luck imo. Was doing heroic and had a few hard encounters. Ran into a boss that auto decreased my minions by 2 attack permanently (on normal he had to cast and was temporary) and lost to heroic Gallywix because I was mage and he threw down nothing but minions that get bonuses from me casting spells (including the coins he gives you). Just have to have the right set up for the right bosses (or snowball with treasures/artifacts).

I don't recall if this was the first chapter or second, but there is a boss that has triple overload spells. They played triple wolves, triple lightning storm, triple elemental destruction, unlocked mana crystals, and free frost giant, into make 3 copies of frost giant against me. Like all adventures I think runs are just easy based on your opponent's draws and whether you get lucky opposing bosses. If you get OP treasures you have to hope to draw them. If you get RNG treasures you have to hope to get the warlock or mage hero power instead of the shaman one to override your existing shaman evolve hero power. TLDR lots of RNG in adventures. If you go for a token themed deck and get matched against the one hero that has the hero power that makes a creature that deals 1 damage to all minions as the final boss, and you don't get immune mukla or some other OP treasure, you're screwed. Togwaggle seems bugged (not getting a random minion) and therefore, especially when she doesn't draw kingsbane is the easiest final boss.

It's funny how i see everyone face Queen Wagtoggle and thus make it feel like the final boss is too easy. I got twice Trade Prince Gallywix as the final boss and that guy is just nuts, you have to play very smart every turn so that you don't end up giving him so much value that he ends up beating you simply because of card advantage, specially on Heroic Mode since he already starts with 4 mana and you have to balance your tempo decisions with not giving him great value

nope, 700 gold for 5 chapters (1 "area") and each chapter gives packs, I think the rest are 2 per chapter, so it's 700 gold 10 packs or something like that

So in total 700x4 chapters, first was free, so 2800 is the correct number => aka 700 per 3 packs. That's not that good, weird. :D You can just buy packs with that? Or is there some good reward later? Edit: On wiki it says "Completing a chapter gives the player 3 Rise of Shadows card packs and completing all five wings grants a Golden Classic pack." So You're paying 2800 golds for 15 packs + one golden classic pack. Well.. Is it even worth? Weird.

This is like the wimpiest heroic ever, why do the hero powers still affect both sides?

For some bosses, that makes them stronger. I think it was the mute that had a heroic hero power of silencing every minion played by both sides passively, making it so that if you dont rush them down they get huge minions whilst yours are severely weakened.
