Hearthstone: Trump Cards 31 - Shaman arena ft. some atypical cards

Bad news is that this draft missed out on some of the mainstay high quality neutral minions like Yeti and Dark Iron Dwarf you're probably used to seeing all the time.
Good news is that in their stead there are a number of Shaman class cards that don't see too much use in Valuetown and this is a good opportunity to see how they work.

I've learned from Kripp's streams that Bloodlust is actually truly OP (not trolling). He literally wins a majority of his Shaman games with it. Granted, he's often (though not always) at least very slightly ahead in the first place, but the Bloodlust allows him to end the game ASAP which is a massive boon in value, as the longer the game goes on, the more chances there are for things to go wrong.

The reason I don't really like Bloodlust is because it rarely gets value unless you're already ahead. You could argue that Bloodlust can end a game quicker, but I'd rather have a card that brings me out of a losing spot, than wins a game I'm already winning.

Venom does not work on devine shield, obviously. If you read the card it states that the minion hit, has to be damaged by the venom in order to be destroyed. Decine shield negates any damage done while active.

At 21:20 why not lust? use cobra on the taunt so insta kill on it, then golem is 5 damage, drake is 7, totem is 3 and crusader is 6 all to the face, that's 21 damage potential, or does cobra not bypass divine shield?

Cobra's effect is "destroy any minion damaged by this minion" - if it attacks the divine shield, the minion doesn't take any damage, thus the effect doesn't work.

TheYanahma ]yeah, another tip for OP (or anyone else) is that the water elemental "freeze any character damaged by this minion". If you attack a warrior for example and the damage only deducts armour then the freeze will not happen because no "damage" was taken. So be sure to attack with other minions first if you can. This hurt me when i figured it out as the oponnent had a gorehowl and I was expecting him to be frozen

It doesn't, cobra has to damage the minion, like at least one point of damage. Side effect: anything cobra damages, dies. So casting betrayal unto cobra, can be super value if cobra is between two creatures.

It costs 0 mana, but it gives up a card in the card advantage game. The card isn't valuable unless you can use it on either a big guy with lots of health, or a combo card like blademaster or ancient watcher.

FMJInertia I always run 1 ancestral healing in my constructed decks. It is a great card most of the time.

LOL. Ok, it's a year old, relates to a game that was in invite-only-beta... that I didn't have access to and over 2 months away from launch. Plenty of people thought you could, since they were changing things like that all the time. Now that I have the game, things like that are obvious, as they appear to be to you. Thing is, you failed to realise that, at the time, most people only had access to this game via watching KZbin. If I'm a 'stupid noob', how do I get legendary ranks each season? There's a big difference between the information you get from only watching a game (and only having been able to watch for a couple of weeks - at most) and the kind of information you have from playing it. But like I said, you're too dumb to realise that. Like I said, you had no idea how stupid that made you look. You're absolutely pathetic for needing to stroke your ego by insulting random people on the internet (and you had to stretch to find insults in the comments here) and either a troll or far, FAR too dumb to bother arguing further with. Logically, get cards which don't rely on other cards being good. Ones that are good in almost all situations, like the sun walker. Silence is actually pretty good in arena. Polymorph, Hex, cards which draw other cards. Cards which go well with your hero power. Area of Effect.

Ali kir the wind lord is just a taz dingo with battlecry do 3 damage for 8 mana. Doesnt sound that great unless you can buff him or something. i think he should be worth 6 mana. Also i think the taunt he has actually makes him a worse card.

quantumsheep545 the divine shield was where i got the 3 damage from, but I think i want to change my summary and call him a bloodfen raptor battlecry deal 6 damage (with enchants). He will almost always die the turn after he is played so the windury doesnt always matter much. Also after some more thought i think costing 6 mana with a 2 mana overload would be perfect for him.
