Quick question. @ 33:19 Trump says he is going offline for 15 minutes to setup his delay. Does he normally do this? This is the first time I've noticed him do this in arena. Did he suspect he was being sniped by that last player or something?

That 2nd game, wow - honestly I think the better move for Trump on that turn with the Fire Elemental would have been to run it into the Unbound, then Brewmaster it back to his hand and replay it killing the 3/3 - he'd have had a smaller but bigger board and gotten pretty big value out of the elemental. EDIT:@41:40 Trump missed an epic combo. Well not THAT epic but still good - if he'd put the flametongue down next to the ooze, the copy would have come in as a 3/2 permanently (I'm pretty sure at least)

39:20 Not even as close as it seemed. He had 3 outs: Flametongue, Abusive (silence lord, buff healing totem and kill) and the Lightning. Add to that the fact that he had a few turns to draw into those and he had something like a 50% chance of winning. If we consider that the opponent could get more taunts or heal himself, we can put that down to 30-40%. It's obviously not ideal, but he had decent chances at the win.

Sylvester Holmes I don't think you understand what a delay is. He never stopped playing/streaming. He just turned on a 15 minute delay, so that we see what he did 15 minutes ago. The stream went offline for 15 minutes to wait until he had 15 minutes of streaming done so we can start seeing what he did as soon as he turned on the delay.

22:32 why not buff the frostwolf to be a 7/7, attack the 6/5 lord, taking his minion down to 7/1? that leaves both Trump's big minions on the board while giving the druid a target to focus his removal on, possibly just using his hero ability ram his face into it and potentially getting an extra 7 damage off on the druid.

Hey Trump, the sound clicking/crackling issue is caused by the latency settings on your sound card; It's set too low. Try bumping the latency up a few milliseconds to fix it. That and make sure you have ASIO drivers installed for whatever audio interface you're using.

I'm a little surprised, in the druid game, that he didn't buff the frostwolf with shattered sun, then hit. It would've survived as a 7/1 and still had the 6/5. Not a particularly scary threat, but it's still something the opponent would have to deal with.

15:12 I hated that move. I'm just like Trump and go for bored clear in Arena. Especially vs a Shaman that should be a no brainier .My play would be attack the 2/4 with the fire Ele bounce back with the Brewmaster and replay the Fire ele and kill the 3/3. That way even with the top deck you still can win the board battle next turn with Silver Hand and Imp master. Then again it didn't matter. The RNG gods payed Trump a visit with the Lstorm skill deck. My case I seem to miss my AOE cards in arena. Hence why I board clear so hard its close to tunnel vision at some points. GG.

Two 1/2s with Windfury. Gets second place in the 'Worst Turn 4 Play' category after the unbeaten champion Skip Turn and Forget to Use Hero Power. Seriously, dude. Flametongue and Abusive buffs don't stick. He had a Shattered Sun though.

The Echoing Ooze spawns a copy of itself at the end of the turn, so if you add stats to it before the end of the turn it is played, it will spawn a copy of itself with those added stats, regardless of the stats being naturally permanent or temporary. However, if the stats temporary stats (from an Abusive for instance) disappear BEFORE the Ooze copies itself, then you will still have the standard double 1/2. I don't know how it works but it would be a good thing to science.

on its own its a pretty ordinary card, its the synergy that makes it strong. (creates 1/1 fodder to "totem tango" which is why trump likes it) -synergises with frothing berserker, because it damages itself per turn -synergises with ghoul because 1/1's have a tendency to die

The problem with Imp Master is that Violet Teacher is simply sooo much better (even if you have only few spells in your deck). VT's stats are on par with Taz'Dingo (minus Taunt ofc), which makes it good drop on Turn 4 (regardless of board). Quite amazing how big of a deal that extra +2 Atk really is.

I can't believe you took flametongue over hex I would never run a deck (if given the choice) without atleast one hard removal if you'd chosen BGH I'd understand but you chose the slimes you really didn't need instead that can only be combo'd with one other card that you were lucky to get and for it to be a decent pick as well. But I wouldn't of picked the slime even if I'd had that because they are fairly useless and do little more than fill up your board in the late game. They are basically a slightly better 2/2 but I would say in most cases for shaman a 3/2 is better because you rarely have the one damage to finish a minion off so it's a straight trade. Although my problem in Arena is I never get any AoE with any class other than mage lately which means that once I lose board control I'm stuck in a never ending cycle of unfavourable trades and trading hard removal only to have 2 more creatures played the next turn. It's because when I don't get AoE I try and go aggro and get plenty of 2's and 3's along with good finishers/taunts and the idea is you go for the face and build up your board and when they have the ability to make a good trade against you, taunt or use removal. The problem is once you run out of steam you're dead if they aren't, and you can literally lose when you're at 30 they're at 6 especially if you're not a mage or hunter. I lost a match like that with paladin I just didn't have any charge cards or spells/weapons that I could hit the hero with, and every turn he'd kill whatever I'd play and fireball the recruit. Mage is one of pallies worst matchups imo.

A vanilla 7/7 is not great. Trump actually likes it better than other Arena rankers, but when you have the 4/3 + silence available (can often take care of scary minions, taunts, or embedded card draw in deathrattles) available, you take it over the vanilla almost every time (Yeti or Ogre might be notable exceptions to this).

I use spell breakers 1/2 the time to knock down a wall (or legendary) and 1/2 the time to fix a debuff on one of my guys for the GG...Silence is way overrated, imo. If only Hex and Poly could be silenced...
