Just a thought, but at 27:00 I think a better play may have been to Shrinkmeister/Shadow Madness the Sylvanas and run it into the River Crocolisk, then using Shadow Word: Pain on it to steal the Aldor Peacekeeper. It is a play that's more vulnerable to removal but that isn't much of a problem with a hand that size. Of course he did still win that game, but I believe it would have made said victory a much more expedited process.

@2:35 - wouldn't it be better if he healed his pyromancer, then attacked face with it, triggerring 3 secrets (noble sac, avenge and redemption). getting a 10/9 challenger and a 2/1. Then playing shadow word death would have killed both 10/9 and a 2/1. the board state remains same with both plays but he takes care of 3 secrets rather than just 1.

Hell, I even find Eboladin far more frustrating to play against than Secret Pally. I play mid-range Pally/Control Warrior almost exclusively and have myrid tools for dealing with Secret Pally(most of the time). Really, the only time I have much difficulty with SP is when they play a few of their secrets before Challenger comes out, which can help them chew up your board presence. As long as you have 1-2 minions out when MC comes down, you are golden. The key is to trigger secrets before using removal if at all possible. I can't help but chuckle every time a Noble Sac gets Redemtion'd. Enjoy that 2-card 2/1 SP. You can also leave a 1/1 recruit around on their side on purpose to either soak a buff that you can deal with easier (i.e. it gets hit with Avenge and you can just clear it with a weapon swing). While you can sometimes be left out in the cold with no way to deal with MC turns, the vast majority of the time just knowing how to deal with the secrets (proper order of triggering) will completely neuter the big swing that MC can cause, and expose the deck for having so many sub-standard cards in it as MC is pretty much their entire win condition. I will admit though if MC comes down on an empty board you are likely in serious trouble, but the same can be said for many key cards in lots of decks. Just my opinion though. Other's experience may vary.

The reason I don't mind playing against SP compared to FH/MM/PW is basically pretty simple; you have more control over the outcome of the game. Against hyper-agro/Patron, you can play almost perfectly and still lose because of the nature of said decks.

+Milkeon The Cute I use HearthRank. It is a 3rd party program that creates tournaments on the fly for you to participate in. There are 1v1 bo3, in different formats, and 8 players tournaments. The waiting time is minimal (or even 0 at some points) everything is free (although you can choose to participate in "paid" modes where you can win money, and this modes have more and bigger tournaments, like from 16 to 256 players), and, starting 2 weeks ago, they even introduced a weekly tournament that you can enter for free, and has a 50$ reward. Although good luck winning in there. :p I only play for fun, so I don't care much about the rewards, and the program works perfectly 90% of the times (I believe they are still in beta, there are some problems from time to time) Since I started using it, the fun I have playing HS has grown exponentially, since now when I play "constructed" games, I actually have a goal in mind, and using crazy unexpected decks vs tournament decks is super fun. :p
