Builders and carpenters can save a lot of money in a project by ensuring the girder trusses are placed correctly, it si more of a value engineering exercise, one that designers can help manage.

It would be great to see some examples of how a professional would do it. You are correct, though; we are, not truss layout designers; we build the software for the pros. It helps them make considerations that allow for HVAC MEP. A truss manufacturing company would always design the actual trusses here in Australia. From a builder's standpoint, I find that many truss companies do not consider the beam sizes required to span a framed opening and, therefore, will place girder trusses over the large opening as the cost is not theirs. This video shows how to avoid the occurrence or redesign. BTW. I did not notice any videos on your channel, so I can only assume you are trolling. Thanks for commenting, though. 😁
