I grew up in rural Idaho. I was a little bit crazy and reckless as a kid. Many of my friends laughed and told me that I would never live to be thirty and I believed them. We had many perilous adventures, but all survived. When I was sixteen and had saved enough for a down payment on a car, I went to dad and told him that I had one picked out. It was a beautiful Chevy Malibu to impress the girls. Dad laughed and told me "No, you are as crazy as a Hoot Owl, I want as much metal around you as possible." I ended up with a Pontiac Bonneville, my friends called it "The Tank". I became a Born-Again Child of Jehovah GOD at 24 years old. The Lord Jesus is as precious to me today as the first day that I was saved. - The retired accountant

If I’ve ever read this passage, I’ve never meditated enough to remember it. Luke 9:62 NIV “[62] Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” Solid biblical advice! Regretfully, I’ve looked back many years of my life at times, and I’ve seen many missed opportunities to help others to witness, and to grow with God pass me by! Lord help us all to keep our eyes, and mind looking forward so we are ready, and don’t miss those opportunities to help serve your kingdom, and live a much more fulfilling life! Maybe Don’s eye opening experience can help open all or eyes... Thanks for sharing Billy!

God bless ya brother, the message is perfect for these times. Its a struggle these days, with so much targeting and premeditated hate. I have lookd back far to many times in my life. Which is fine if we are learning from it, but that too, requires moving forward. I can relate to everything about your testiment and childhood too. My parents taught that hard work and honesty were the keys to success. But i always thought it meant monetary rewards😅. Now i know better😊. Dons message is more important now, than ever.
