He asked me one day: "Do you know why I've gotten as far as I have with you"?.... I thought for a minute and replied: "Because you are a very kind and encouraging force in my life". He said; "Yes that's true but that's not it. I've gotten this far because you TRUST me"..... Smh...so many times, looking back now, he was sadistically rubbing things right in my face. And I was oblivious. Hindsight is indeed 20/20.

I trust my head now, over my heart, because knowledge is power and it is what it is, or was. Nothing but pretty lies and more lies, laced with venom and sting. These videos have enabled me to see with my head and not my heart. Thank you H.G.

I am so guilty of trusting and have always lived with trust someone until they prove they can't be trusted! However, I also give people the benefit of a doubt and I believe their explanation. Trust is what got me in trouble but it is also part of who I am. I go into the future with very wary of the new people I meet. Even some of the current associates no longer garner my trust. My experience has definitely changed who I am and how I see people.

Kim Michaud As we learn more, become stronger, get firm with boundaries, it's almost amazing how their behavior "improves"...a sign that they can control it giving us a false sense of security. Like you, I believe it will always happen again, and they punish even harder during the next round. I won't trust the former Ns again no matter how saintly they strive to be. Lol.

I only Trusted him until I found him cheating on me. One month later, he discarded me before I could leave him - 5 years together- Cheating for 2.5 of those years. He is a Lieutenant Fire Fighter/ EMT totally fits the description of the Mid-Range Narcissist.
