I miss the early resistance band workouts with commentary, my favorites were the one he did inside a warehouse and the one he did next to the truck loading bays.

I do like the input. Very good advice. I also like the recommendation of set reps you use. And the idea I have prescribed to forever we are all different not one best for everyone

I only do two sets of 6-10 with heavy weights. That works perfect for me!

These are good tips. I only use resistance bands. and I stumbled upon a similar format independently. And I also do for sets. Set 1 is high Reps to feel out. Up the resistance on two and three. And push set 4 close to failure

When doing 3 sets of 10, around the 2nd rep I notice I can’t get to 10. There are times I get to 7 and I feel myself dropping on strength. I was told if I do one rep then I can do another rep, I ended up hurting myself because I was done, but my spotter said I had more and made me do another rep. Is that normal? He said I got hurt because of my form, but I think u got hurt from over doing it. He said I’m just a quitter. I’m looking for pro advice so I don’t injure myself

So as heavy as you can with 12-20 with good form. The heavier you go, the more resistance you'll have.

But tempo matters, too. Slower tempo means more time under tension. That creates more intensity without increasing load. It's not always about the weight.

Start at 50% of you 1 rep max and work slower and practice squeezing the muscle
