What is the problem with a husband telling his wife that he loves her, being told that his father and his wife have cancer. This time last year he faced the unthinkable that his beautiful wife Catherine and the mother of his 3 wonderful children might die. He is a more modern monarch, and l think more power to Prince William for not being shy to show his emotion of love for her. As Royal Journalists you should know that there is no such thing as 'Royal tradition'! Every generation uses newer tools and words than the generation before - if that wasn't the case Queen Elizabeth would never have flown abroad or driven herself around in her own car! Prince William used the modern way of communication - social media - and the modern way of easily using the "love" word. It has nothing to do with being a Royal and everything to do with what is normal today. My parents never told us 5 siblings they loved us (they just showed us they did) but my daughter uses it as readily as just saying "goodbye".

As a cancer survivor you are wrong. They found cancer and she began chemo. Stop your nonsense. Catherine's doctors hoped they removed them all and began chemo to make sure. Same with me. They tested everything after the operation and weeks later the pathologist found the cells. You know and understand nothing.
