Charles Was about ten when he was given the title, I think? I also think it would depend on how old George is when William becomes King.

I don't think Diana fans would have tolerated Camilla as POW. They made a wise decision. Took me 24 years to accept the idea of Queen Camilla. Once it happened she quickly earned her place. Better than we expected.

Diana didn't own the PoW title. The Princess of Wales is the wife of the heir to the throne. Camilla had the title, she just didn't use it. The last person before Diana to hold the title was George V's wife, the eventual Queen Mary and the next will probably be George's wife. There have been only eleven of them since the 14th century.

It wasn't out of respect, Camilla never respected Diana in the first place. She simply never received the title, because the royals new the future backlash over it. She would have worn it if she had received it. She's a grab it all she's given!
