Totally asgree. As a Wales supporter, he was a great, focused, lynchpin, solid player. As a Dragons supporter, he was wobbly and frustrateable (word?). As a rugby player talking about the game, pundit, tactics, coaches, psychology and politics of the game, he's top quality.

Dan Biggar really comes across as a good guy. Wasn’t his biggest fan on the field - as an Irish man from Leinster - except in Lions Red. However he seems like a really sound fella and am enjoying his level punditry. Must pick up his book

Can anyone explain what the 25/60 cap rule is?
@matthewbazeley2984Ай бұрын
How many times you have to play for Wales before you can play your club rugby in another country and still be picked for the National team.
@rorymcadam5644Ай бұрын
@@matthewbazeley2984 cheers, didn’t even realise that was a thing. Do you know if other nations have that too or is it specific to WRU?
@Hopalong-re9lzАй бұрын
Other nations often have variations on it. Apart from the French who have so much money it doesn't matter
@loganwilliams7635Ай бұрын
@@rorymcadam5644 Ireland is way more strict, if you dont play for an Irish team you cant play, even Sexton had to come back from France.
@leeofdoom4452Ай бұрын
Interesting, regarding the walkbout noone considered the fan base, or the welsh public. Both the players and WRU played a risky game of chicken, and the public lose every single time. I dont blame either in that scenario, despite beleiving the WRu really want to destroy welsh rugby!!!! Re Gats, hes a professional, he does a job and he is trying to create a culture, praising, celebrating, whooping and hollering after a group game win in a RWC immediately tells your players that was their final, he wanted a quick fist pump and to move on to the knock outs, like NZ always do.

Dan is clearly a nice fella with his heart in the right place, but I suspect he didn’t do himself any favours with the complaining he used to do. It overshadowed his play quite often. Obviously very passionate and wants to win. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe a bit less whinging
