I got this Bible. I’ve been looking for an ESV and I ordered it when it popped up on my fb. I agree with you, this Bible is really nice. The 10.5 font is perfect for my aging eyes. Like you I recommend it, you can’t beat it for the price. I’m going to use it in 2024 to do the Bible Recap read the Bible in a year plan.

You're a blessing. That's inspired, your desire to make a gift of very high quality Bibles made with the craftsmanship we read about God instructing for His tabernacle and later for the temple, which pointed toward Jesus as the Lamb, the Great High Priest, and, as God in man made manifest. You say you miss the sound of pages being flipped open in church - but at least there the preacher is asking people to crack open a Bible. I can't recall ever hearing a preacher (except on the radio) say "Open your Bible with me to....". They never say anything like that here.

I would I would get them while you still can. I will say the cover isn't as thick as the $130 version of it but it's still a great Bible. I suspect that I will be ordering two or three of these next month to have to give out to people.

I did buy this myself last month. I have the same text block in my ESV Creeds and Confessions version in leathersoft. This Top Grain Leather for $35 is very nice, but it is a bit floppy..almost too much..but I've never had a real premium leather bible before.

It is a tad floppy but it would also be a great candidate for a rebind. I like this and I'm going to be giving this to a young lady who just came out of a very abusive relationship.
