It's all from demons. The stalking thing. They have infiltrated our psyche and subconscious. Humans merging with machines also creates this. When humans mechanize themselves it brings them closer to the demonic world. It may also be vampirism, since there are crazy nutty people who are like vampires. That feeds on the life and lust of other people. It could be animalism merging with human beings also. Spirits of goats or dogs, or ants, imbibing themselves in a person. Creating a monstrosity. I am more than sure the government knows about this. They were trying to experiment with things similar. Like giving people LSD. Also look up a guy named John Ramirez he said he could project himself into people's brains and make them go crazy and doubt their faith. Ex Santeria Satanist. There are insane creepy people in the society im in who just run all up and down the Scopus of the universe and think it is just like a giant game.
