I had a burnout last year, i was teamleader at my work. But we had so much work that we neede extra co workers. I told them multiple times, they told me NO we have enough, just work more hours in the night. After 6 months i was arguing with friends and family i was really aggitated, couldnt sleep. I wen to the doctor and he told me to stay home. After a few months my one of my bosses called ( i have 3 and trhis one is really chill) He told me that he worked my job for a few weeks and opened up 3 more job application. and he was sorry, I told him he they listened to me 6 months before then i hadnt had to be burnedout and in a shit situation. I am still recovering. And yes i thought a burnout was bullshit until i got myself one So the idea that a employer recognise that their worker is overworked before its to late is really rare.
