Interesting that yet another sermon on proper function/behavior of a Christian congregation "pops up" as I'm reading Thessalonians. The virtues that are identified by way of commendation are the virtues that God would still commend in any church today because they are the marks of a faithful congregation. Other believers are good gifts from the Lord, and their presence in our lives is one of the means by which we are encouraged and become more conformed to the image of Christ (James 1:17-18) so let us always show gratitude to God for the believers He has placed in our lives. Pastor Begg, I have never heard you mentioning the Rapture teaching of many churches, I personally do not see their teachings in the Bible, and respecting your great biblical knowledge I would like to know if you believe like them ,and if you do, could you preach about it.? I see only Jesus Second Coming T the end of times, of judgment time , of the saved will be resurrected to go to heaven and later the lost being destroyed by fire from heaven, as in Sodom and Gomorrah. Satan and his followers will be burned in the Lake of Fire and the earth and heavens will be made new by God and we will live with the Lord there forever.

Personally I have seen some wonderful things from God. But if believing these things are past comforts you in your lack of having such. OK. Not going to argue, but not going to agree on that one point. I’ve heard it for years from powerless pulpits soon to fall in adultery more times than I care to count. Men who read the word and are quick to tell others it does not mean what it says. So no faith. No faith, no power. It’s not magic but our Fathers kingdom is beyond our ability to fully grasp. Gods best to you all.
