I know it’s probably already been said in this thread, but I think it bears repeating. On KZbin drama is everything. Drama is what gets people watching. At least in most cases. I think one of the exceptions to that role might be vice grip garage, when it comes to car revivals. The reason for that is because Derek has a very dry sense of humor. He also works on older classic cars. Junkyard digs is another channel that does car rescues and car revivals. Those guys follow the same formula that vice script does. I actually heard them say that vice grip garage was actually one of their biggest motivations. They’ve worked together on a few different projects. Anyhow, my whole point with this statement was that people that watch KZbin love drama in all its forms. That’s why a lot of those more dramatic car rescue KZbin channels probably have more subscribers. Everybody loves a good action movie.

What is the mans name and why do you have a weird picture- are you naked in your bed? Do better. No one is impressed? Still living at home and no job? Very single? Looks like it. On the plus side, you look slightly like Breckin Meyer.

Shoutout to the realest recovery team out there, especially after meeting you all when I came out to Moab earlier this year. I no longer watch the “Offroad recovery production companies”, only you guys who are honest and themselves who put in the work where it counts and just so happen to film it for our pleasure. Mad respect for all the effort and everything that goes into properly and safely doing all of your recoveries, but especially ones like this on protected land. Looking forward to my next trip out to Moab, and respectfully… I hope I only see you guys because I want to! But if I need you then you’re the only game around IMO

Can you name the "offroad recovery production companies"? New to the genre and need to make sure I'm not subbed.
@zyeborm Жыл бұрын
@@durial702likley just the one, heavyD. I started out watching his channel but when I realised he had to be in every shot and driving every vehicle it got really old really fast. He's got all the cool toys to be sure but very over the top hero complex kinda deal. if you like this channel you'll probably like "the southern utah crew" consisting of Robby layton nation (probably the closest in terms of nice and honest and fun, to trailm8r) , matts offroad recovery, and fab rats. A notable mention goes out to chads fab who are a seriously under rated channel, but chad and his family are very quiet and capable types who take a lot of pride in doing things well. Doesn't make for dramatic fast paced content but quite satisfying.

Wow Rory and crew, hats off to you guys. I’m not an off road guy, but I do respect wilderness as beauty as it sits and has existed this millions of years. My greatest of appreciation for taking those extra steps and stepping in to do this recovery. If you really want to preserve the beauty of the land with the least damage possible, way to go crew. Much appreciated beautiful shots, thanks for taking us along.

@AlexRodri275 ай бұрын
@cooperwheeler5257 it was one hell of a recovery. the difference is he didn't do it for the money. He could've easily told his viewers to go buy merchandise to cover the costs for the recovery. He did it for free if you didn't catch that in the video...

Rory, I applaud your efforts, honor and how you dealt with this case. You show great honor to the land, the people and nature. It is tough to work in a job that has so many that do not have the same ethics as you do and it hurts a person when they see others not caring about the land and environment like they should. People now days do not care about anything but themselves. It is super easy to see that you and your guys care a lot and it shows. Thank you for what you do and how you do it.

People need to understand and RESPECT the precious land Moab has of value . If people wheeling can not see the value in all the efforts took to exercise safely/proper when ANYONE wheeling in Moab lands … those simpletons can go elsewhere. People don’t understand how much we all have to fight to keep the wheeling opportunities alive in Utah . ALL TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS “Be the example for others to follow “ 👊🏻😁💯! Good job for standing your ground 👊🏻🇺🇸

Thank you for being a local team that does your job in a respectful way to reach the goal. For you and your guys, it's not a stunt show where a bunch of people show up, make a mess of the land, tear crap up, break the customer's equipment, and then leave (presumably in their Cobra helicopter) to go and make a mess somewhere else. You are the real deal and I appreciate your work and your channel. Thank You!

Part of the reason I love this channel is Rory demonstrates that you can build a vehicle, go out and have fun, while still being conscientious. Leading by example he documents how to not act a fool and ruin things for everyone. Don't be that guy. Respect the land. It's kind of like the guys who were modifying diesel trucks and filming themselves on national television violating federal regulations. I think the public way in which clowns like that flaunt the rules helped lead to the EPA deciding to crack down more aggressively on companies who manufacture "for off road use only" parts that people had been using and flying under the radar for decades. EPA knew it was happening but once rolling coal became a thing they had no choice but to act. Don't poke the bear, kids.

RORY, What else can I say but "YOUR THE MAN"!!! Even though you didn't make the money, (the other guy tried to make), you showed the Character that a Real Professional has! We all support you and are very proud to watch a video where the Land means more than the money! You Sir are what keeps the backtrails open!! Watching a "rock climbing rig" make some of the climbs is enjoyable, BUT then YOU come along in a TOW TRUCK pulling a 10,000 lb brick (without wheels) UP THE SAME CLIMB IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We all support your opinion about what you said in the intro and you have nothing to apologize for. Ok, now I'm going to stop typing and buy some additional stuff from your store, YOU DESERVE IT!!!

That was an amazing recovery! Rory, your respect for the land is admirable. You have a great team that can seemingly do the impossible while keeping their humor. Rory, Mike and Sean's laughter through such challenging situation is refreshing. Meanwhile, Trail Mater is a BEAST! That big block Chevy must have a ton of torque to accomplish dragging a full size truck through such rocky area. And again, great videography to show the beauty of the area. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
