Awesome thank you so much for the kind words good luck with your bead locks I’ve got three different sets of the cheaper Chinese bead locks and I’ve had nothing but good experience with them a little purple Loctite goes along way on them have fun and enjoy the hobby

Really appreciate it definitely wanted to go with the white roof as I just think it looks a little more old-school and traditional for the Land Rover. Go for it man make this thing your own do everything that makes you happy on them that’s what this sport is all about is the enjoyment of it all of the front end is hot racing parts. Yeah kind of wished I would’ve used pearl but it turned out pretty good and definitely wish someone made those thought about maybe trying to figure out some kind of 3-D print but who knows maybe one day I’ll figure it out

Great looking Defender. Ive had mine for a month so far and kinda going the same route just scaling it out. Gonna make an occasional trail rig out of it and use my sport for crawling. Noticed NC on the tag we are near Greensboro/High Point. Are ya anywhere near?

Yes it is it’s reasonably flexible but it is plastic. I’ve seen a few metal ones on eBay but I don’t know about the quality or the fitment.

Sick defender dude, how many cans of paint did you use for the body shell?

So I used one and a half cans of the gun metal for the main color. Are used about half a can of white for the roof. Maybe a quarter of a can of black backer to put a backing code on all of it and then I used a small tub of matte black hand paint for the door and roof lines

Hot Racing grill and front bumper the only thing I changed was I did not put on the winch mount to the bumper and I added the 5 mm LED lights into the bumper

They’re 4.75 tall 1.9 tires. Which honestly I believe are a little too big I’m shopping around for some that are around 4.2 to 4.3 tall
