I think there is a significant difference. Especially as someone who is now sober. I believe alcohol is a lot worse and more damaging and as someone that deals with chronic pain I think weed helps in a lot of ways. But there should be more studies on marijuana. Just my opinion on it

I don't know why it causes it, but every single time I've tried weed I've gotten violently ill. Like dizzy and throwing up ill. I've tried smoking a joint, from a bong, from a bowl, and edibles. I am a little disappointed that their expert didn't mention the high (pun sort of intended) incidence of allergic reaction to weed. Everything from ragweed type (they're similar plants) to anaphylaxis. Personally, I get hives on my tongue, uvula, and in my throat. Also, there was no mention of second-hand or third-hand reactions. Listening to Dr. Kirk talking about how it makes people more free and creative was so wild to me! I am in a huge minority of people who's body chemistry just does not work with cannabis. It makes me dizzy, nauseous, super sleepy, and my whole body aches, like when you just start feeling achy from having the flu. My husband is a regular user and has had me try every way under the sun that there is to get high. Even differnt ways to use CBD. I'm a couple months sober from 🍃 after being a heavy user. I get dreams again and my acne and wrinkles have cleared up a little and fortunately my anxiety is less awful without it. I still think 🍃 has great benefits and if your body/mind is telling you it's too much at that point in your life, don't be discouraged from taking a break.

When I did smoke or drink, if I watched a video like this back then, it would never convince me to quit. They are just showing how fun it is to get high, which was the only reason I did it. I hated the taste of alcohol, and I didn't like smoking. They didn't have edibles back then, and I am glad they didn't, because it would have been much easier to get deeper into cannabis. But I couldn't function at all when I was high, I couldn't even play guitar. I would be the way people are on acid. I would see things.
