So excited for Eugene's Mercutio! That was the first male role that I auditioned for, before I realized that I was actually a boy and was still perceived female. My awful theatre teacher kept sticking me in bit male roles because I obviously wasn't great at playing women, so I finally decided to go for the BEST role in R+J and was literally yelled at by the boys when I went up to audition. I was the clear choice, and that was still one of my favorite acting roles I ever did. Mercutio is so fun!!!! (and gay). Happy Pride!!!
