Try my mango dessert for your next holiday gathering!

MANGO BANGO⤵️
2-3 ripe mangos, diced
3-4 cups vodka, haha jk water
3/4 cup tapioca pearls, uncooked
1 jar coconut jelly, drained of juices
1.5 cups half and half (or 50:50 blend of milk & heavy whipping cream)
1/2 cup condensed milk
1. Cook tapioca pearls according to package. Add water add tapioca pearls to a pot. Bring to boil. Once boiling, reduce heat a little bit but still at a boil and cook for 10 mins. Remember to stir occasionally. After 10 mins, turn off heat and allow to sit for 15 mins. Then rinse & drain under cold water.
2. To your tapioca pearls, add the rest of your ingredients: diced mangos, coconut jelly (drained of juices), half and half, condensed milk.
3. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving or serve with ice is ok

@@k6-.2-.6 Fair enough. I think it's a pretty good base if you want to swap out mango for different fruit though, assuming you aren't allergic to a ton of them. I feel like papaya could work well? Maybe kiwi? I have a feeling most tropical fruit could work here.

Woah! The first few seconds reminded me of something my grandmother makes when she's on a fast (for festivals). She would soak tapioca pearls in water until they are all hydrated, then mix in sweetened yogurt (misti doi), banana, apples, mangoes, Indian sweets made of dehydrated milk and mix them all together. It is really delicious. Now that I don't live with her, i miss it.

We call it mango tapioca here where I'm from 😳 We alsa have a "buko pandan" version which is instead of mango we put shredded coconut and pandan flavoured jelly which is green in color. Tastes just as good 😋❤️

Coming back to this video to comment! I wanted to make this so badly because it looked sooo good! So I bought the pearls and at the time mangos weren’t in season but my mom gave me an idea to buy frozen mangos and I made it! (Minus the your version of coconut jelly because I used Mexican coconut jello mix, I’m Mexican :D ) my family was skeptical at first and especially my sister. They soon ate their words because they are obsessed with Mango Bango! Now my mom and sister are constantly telling me to make mango bango at least once a week lmao. So thank you for sharing this recipe :D
