My precious cat rain was missing for 8 days, he left on the 27/12/22 I went crazy searching for him and my dads friends just laughed at me. Grown adults laughing at a crying child. The days went on with no hope until a lady emailed a picture saying I found your cat and he has been hit by a car.we were so glad because in the picture he looked as if he were alive, they said they gave it to a vet but the vet had transported him to another because they were closing. They opened today on Tuesday, 3/1/23. We came to see our cat in a body bag. My dad dug the grave and I decorated it with so much flowers and the best crystals I could find, that cheered me up knowing that he will always be with us in this house so I could visit him whenever. He was only 3 years old and this happened to my old cat too he went missing and never came back. RIP rainy :( you will be missed.

I grew up with a long haired chihuahua. He was the sweetest funniest little dude ever. This year, he turned 13 and a month later he crossed the rainbow bridge to heaven. I regret not spending a lot of time with him. I miss him so much. Fly high little baby, miss you so much ❤️🕊

Ever since I lost my dog who's been at my side for 10 years, I haven't cried once. I was in such denial that I refused to cry or show any negative emotions. Now, I always tell myself that "it's not the loss that hurts, it's the memories that follow that hurts". Sure, you'll miss them but they're probably happy you were in their life when they had it. When I was 13 my dad brought home a dachshund that my mom had said no to. That dog turned out to be a huge part of our family. 15 years after we got him I was a soldier coming home for mid tour leave from Iraq. I’d seen and done a few things by then in combat but managed to keep my emotions in check. I got to my parents house, still in uniform, and standing in the front garden my parents told me that while I was away they’d had to put our dog down. I dropped to my knees in front of his grave and cried like a little baby.

You have been though a tough time I've been there to having to know you whent there for them on there final breath that happened to me I was 11 at the time and we had chickens 4 of them to be exact I had one I loved her with my heart and soul her name was Holly a black with white strips all along her anyway me and my sister were asleep in the living room I had woke up an hour before the accident but I was so tired that I went back to sleep moments later my mum had woke me and my sister up and sat "us down for a talk she had said holly died..." I emiditly burst into tear think " this has to be a joke right s..she can't be dead" she had explained that she had let our dog butter outside and forgot about him and the chickens were in there coop but he opened the gate and had grabs Holly and pulled her into the yard and killed her he just left her body there and didn't even eat her just left her there I realized I could have prevented the whole thing if I didn't sleep in I fell into a deep depression I still am depressed to this day I miss her very much... If your reading this I give you my love to keep fighting its hard when you lose a loved one but you got more and if you don't well I here for ya love you 💗

watching this is kind of hard, I can safely say that my heart goes out to those who have lost their pet. Over my life I have had many pets that have moved on... it's basically having a part of your life ripped from you. It hurts- bad. I remember all my pets names even now, decades later. I still love and miss them. They become part of your life, part of you. The bond and love are real, and when they leave us there is a huge hole in our hearts that only time can heal. Then only fond and happy memories remain.

I lost my dogs almost five years ago now. A border collie and an english creme retriever. I still get so sad thinking about them. When I was really little I lost a golden retriever on a family trip, and every year I go there I stop by a tree to lay out some pinecones and rocks as a sort of memorial for her even eleven years later. No matter how much time passes, I still think about them. I loved them with all of my heart, and the heartbreak I felt all those years ago is still fresh in my mind as I think of them now.

I can’t watch this whole video without crying because it reminds me of my dog that I had since I was 6 years old, I had to put him down last year and it was truly heartbreaking to watch him leave. I held him until his last breath. I still remember sneaking cold broccoli to him in the middle of the night when I was 7 years old, I would go to say hi to him everyday after school, walk with him down the street with just him and I, and many other memories. He loved people and loved to play, he was also very stubborn too. His energy was as if he doesn’t age at all. I miss him so much and I wish that I could go back in time to see him again… Dogs are truly man’s best friend, they know how to win you heart. Now that I’m a junior in college, I still think about him everyday and wondering what he is doing now in doggy heaven. I can’t wait to see him again…

3 days shy of my dog passing away a year ago... He was my service dog, he was an emotional support dog, and PTSD... Also a working dog, I used to walk dogs, started when I got him. His stomach flipped and I couldn't do anything for him... He waited a day for me to come back home from work and to say good bye to me... My dog max passed away 2 years ago and I still think about him all the time. I begged my parents to let me get a dog my whole childhood and then I finally got one when I was 11. My dad came home late and I was sleeping and max came into my room and woke me up by licking my face. Meeting him for the first time was the best day of my life. Max and I basically grew up together, he passed away when I was 20. I miss him so much, he was so smart and such an amazing dog. Losing a pet is so hard, it feels like they’re apart of your family.

The other dog we have has been taking it really hard too, she didn't eat for about a week because she knew she didn't eat first and now she still doesn't eat as often, she also freaks out anytime anyone goes near a door and honestly I don't blame her, her best friend went out the door and never came back...

allow yourself to mourn as much as you need to. i am still sad and crying while being angry at the vets for not having done a x-ray earlier on the first couple visits to discover the tumor. pretty much going trough all kinds of feelings right now and im very sad to read about your other dog. yes it hurts but as much as i want my dog back i know it had to be done. he has been suffering and after the good time he gave me he deserved to fall asleep peacefully. allways keep that in mind. i can tell you cared alot for these dogs. there will be better times for both of us and we should thank them for having showed us the meaning of unconditional love. my boy made me a better human and he will allways be in my hearth . remember all the good times you had with them. take care

A few years ago my dad got me a golden retriever. It was a very important dog to the whole family, then I went to my village to meet my grandparents. In the morning the dog wasn't here and I start searching it with my mom, we didn't found her, after a few days my dad said that it was dead. My heart just stopped and started crying. He told me that before she died she went to her favourite place.The puppies inside my dog died too. Fly away❤

When I was eight, I had a dog named Jamrock he was the sweetest dog anyone could ask for one time. We left them outside for a little too long, but he had a lot of water when we went outside he had a heat, stroke and blood all over his nose I was crying, my heart eyes out and to think of him again it’s just hurts my heart.

Story 1 When i was 5 yrs old we had to put my aunts dog down. I didnt think much of it but noticed everyone in my family was bawling 😭 i thought we were just going to visit max. That was the last time i ever saw him. I miss that man i miss him. Story 2 When i was 3 yrs old and since i was born we had this dog named jakey bear 🐻 he had cancer in his left arm. When my dad took him to the vet he said we would have to put him down in the next 5 days. We couldnt watch him suffer. We spent that weekend doing everything he loved, going to the river, playing fetch at the park, visiting oir grandparents and aunties dogs. Then the day finally came. We had to put him down❤ we took one last family photo (trying to hold ourselves together. An then my dad brought him in. And watched as he took his final breathes ❤❤❤ Rest in peace Jakey bear and Maxie

🥺The littlest things makes u miss ur pet so much more. My doggie loved walks!! He was so active until a family friend ran over his front paw & no one went in the backyard to check on him n 2 days. I did when I got home from trade school. He was sitting in his house like nothing was wrong, but was glad to see me. His hurt paw left him with a limp, but his joy for walking hasn’t changed. He sadly passed n march 2020 due to old age.

Well, my dog passed away yesterday from heavy rain in Malaysia. The reason why my dog is outside it's because my parents would scold me if my dog was inside, so the only choice is to put him outside, he has a shelter outside btw. Soo I remember the last thing me and my dog did together was playing around and showering my dog, the smile on his face makes me so emotional and I cannot control my emotions towards my dog. A few years back, I had a fully black, exept for a patch of white on his chest amazing cat. He taught me what love felt like, and I’m so grateful. We made so many memories, bad and good ones. I woke up from school one day, looking at my Ollie as he seemed to be crouched in the floor in pain. I told my parents, and they seemed unbothered at first. When they finally took him to the vet, it turned out, someone had fed him oil, or some poison got left out. Maybe he caught a mouse that was poisoned, I don’t know. His organs would fail, and he had to be put down days later. He had been my best friend for about a year, as we had found him abandon by his mother about a few weeks old, the lady who gave him to us said. After watching him die, I became depressed.(I still am.) I got two new cats, Charolette and Decaon, two savannah cats. A few weeks ago, Decaon went missing and days after searching I looked up at the sky, saying “Oh Ollie, guide him back to us..” and that night he was found screaming on my porch to be let in. Thank you bud, for everything you’ve taught me.

I just recently just put my dog down and I'm still crying but she was suffering. I can still hear her and her scent and even some glimpse of her. Me and my family have her for almost 14 years when and before she was born. She was the only litter survivor and the only girl with minor disabilities. Even her mom feel her when she was passed, but she wasn't close to where we at or seen her so long but she was sad, my aunt told me.

This makes me very emotional considering every one of these videos reminds me of my cat, "Rapunzel." She was an orange tabby and I got her when I was very young, hence the name Rapunzel, from a shelter. It said she was abandoned and found in a garbage because someone cruel tried throwing her out. Around 13 years later, something bit her (I'm assuming a tick) and she continued to hide in smaller places away from everyone. During that weekend she got bit, we assumed she was fine and went on a road trip (Ofc we left food and water out for her, plenty) And when we got back she was less active than ever and still bleeding on her chest. The next day I went to school, in algebra I was called up for check out, and I was worried sick, but then standing out in the front of my school was my father, holding a small box that said "R.I.P Rapunzel" (She had to get put down, she was suffering) And while writing this, I'm in a burst of tears. She's gone now forever.

0:55 I remember petting my bunny judy in the laundry room where we kept the bunnies, September 27th 2019 my bunny cookie died and I was so sad I cried for 4 days straight and i still cried every day I came home from school. I had another bunny named Judy who was just as sad her sister left her there. I could tell Judy was falling into a depression because all she did was loaf and sleep in the same spot every day by cookies cage when the cage was left in the laundry room. I put a mat down for Judy so she could hop out and she hugged me and she was telling me she missed cookie. I could see it in her eyes. 8 months later on may 14th, I came to say goodnight and she laid in a corner, her heart stopped beating and she didn’t get to close her eyes, I felt so bad and my heart skipped a beat when I realized I didn’t get to say goodbye. I cried so hard and I couldn’t move. I didn’t know how to speak and I couldn’t speak up. I was so heartbroken that I felt like I didn’t want to get another pet after she passed away. My mom found a guinea pig on Facebook that a family couldn’t take care of, and found another guinea pig a month later in the shelter. One is named Kneesaa who loves her sister. And another is named Twinkie who is such a beautiful girl. I love them so much that I’m so afraid to lose another. But I realized I have to be strong and move on. I still cry every now and then, but I know I’m independent and I can stand up knowing that I made the best memories.

I lost my dog three years ago, I don't even know if he's alive or not. My family went out of town and left him at the house, unleashed. When we came back, he was no where to be seen, we asked my neighbours, we searched everywhere for him but we couldn't find him anywhere. He was such a good boy, he obeyed every order, he tried his best to protect us, he even stole a good pair of shoes and brought it to our house just to give it to my dad, he was a aggressive dog but there wasn't one single bite mark on that pair of shoes(we returned the shoes to the owner), he bit my other dog once but later that day, he apologised. He was the best dog ever, I loved him so much. We named him after a king, and he was surely the king of our house. We should've never left him, we still regret that foolish decision.
