Yes you can, but the squids will release moisture and eventually you will have to dry it up

When you cover the squids and cook, they release a lot of water. You will then have to dry up the liquid and this will lead to overcooking. I suggest you cook this dish in a broad fry pan. Do try out and let me know how it turned out.🙂
