K tape is such a huge help. Should be recognized for the amount of people it has helped. I work construction and I put a ton of wear on my body lifting heavy things, often awkward angles and just continuous wear on the body. This has truly helped me. My knee was so messed up I thought I was going to have to get surgery. I did this for 4 weeks and I'm good to go.

Is this just an alternate to a sleeve? Why are you taping this way? I still like the idea though. It just seems alittle excessive

It is a lot of tape and is just one option. As far as a sleeve, those only provide some compression and not localized support where it is needed most. Thanks for watching!

The tape is used to help stabilize the knee to help prevent injury or for recovery from an injury.

for partial tears or post surgical recovery? Noticed the use of tape behind the leg as well - would this improve support for those who have had a hamstring autograft?

It works for either, it just depends on where you are at with rehab. The same taping can be done with Leuko tape for more support. Just consult with your therapist. Did you experience a tear? How?

what am I doing wrong that the edges keep rolling up and it eventually comes off. I am using KT brand tape

It could be a couple things. Are you cleaning the skin really well before applying and then rubbing well to activate the adhesive?

@@geekedrehab rubbing the ends is actually how it dog eared the first time...but maybe I am not cleaning the skin properly. I pretty much just used a baby wipe

Tape lasts 3/4 days too. So apply every other week and do your stretches
