flash fiction is tough

It's a challenge all on its own outside of this, but that's kinda why I like it!

@@RKGold I totally would, yes! Just getting a feel for expert writers processes is valuable enough to be worth the coin.

I love this series! I'd love to see an episode where you look at psychological fiction like Dostoevsky writes!

I like that idea, I definitely want to do this later in the series. I already have a genre picked out for next week, but after that, this is top of list!

I like the painting behind you is that a shotgun house
@ADHDwriter4 жыл бұрын
It is a shotgun house! That one happens to be my partner's creation. It's one of my faves and the colors merged so well with my room that I couldn't resist putting it right where I can always see it. Reminds me of home.

I love Terry Pratchett! And this was a fantastic start to your genre hopping flash fiction. I love how the editing turned out!

AAAHH!! Thank you! I was up 'till 2:30 after the insomnia sprints stream editing so I'm happy with what it turned out to be. I'm glad you like it! I hope the future ones will be even better.

There is a video called "Gene Wilder | How to React Naturally | A Docu-Mini" that really changed the way I viewed comedy (and comedy writing) and I think is worth the watch. But also, that might just be the crush I have on Gene Wilder that will never go away. Also also, your hair scarf is gorgeous, where did you get it?
@ADHDwriter4 жыл бұрын
I'll have to check that out, Spence! The scarf is a regular scarf that I got from The World Market a few years ago. Idk if they sell it anymore but I absolutely adore it!

First off the whole ice fail was hilarious and if you wrote that down as a comedy skit it'd be great!! Comedy can be really hard to get right, although having a test audience can really help. I've only every really written comedy stuff for the stage and Ive found it harder to translate that to prose, but this was super interesting and I'm tempted to try some comedy writing now! Also I need to try Terry Pratchett again, I attempt reading the colour of magic last year and couldn't get through it all, but I love the TV film of going postal and kinda tempted now to try some other discworld books to get into it 🤔

CHARLOTTE YOU HAVE TO READ PRATCHETT!! I'm reading The Truth rn and we could taaalkkk about it! Also, the freaking ice machine, dude. Idek how I did that! And yes, I still don't fully understand how to conduct humor. I like it a lot, but I have NO CLUE what I'm doing.
