I loved the look on the childs face in the flightdeck. I didn't think airlines allowed that anymore, but it was amazing seeing the look of wonder and inquisitiveness on his face. I used to be like this too as a child which got me infatuated with aircraft. I think it's brilliant that pilots like yourselves still allow this old tradition of inviting kids into the flightdeck. These videos are definitely some of the best on KZbin. Thanks

Em um momento de dificuldade, já estava praticamente desistindo da aviação. Desesperançoso perante o cenário atual de demissões e desemprego em massa! Porém ao assistir este vídeo, ao ver imagens belíssimas que somente quem voa é capaz de apreciar, ao ver uma criança aparentemente especial hipnotizada com a magia que uma cabine proporciona, me fez aumentar em meu coração a chama que estava fraca. É este tipo de coisa que faz a gente parar e acordar para aquilo que realmente pretendemos em nossas vidas. To become a pilot, You don't really need to study your ass off. Study your ass off if you want to become a Doctor, Engineer or Lawyer. To become a pilot, yes you have to study enough to an extent, but more importantly (if not the most important) you need a tonne of money..cheers.

When I checked it out, I would have had to take a loan which I will end up paying for years and as a pilot you are not guaranteed a high paying job, if non at all, based on how the market is flooded. Adrian, do you have a dream? Everybody has a dream, for some it may be a beautiful house with a swimming pool, a sport car, become a recognized writer, actor or singer. For some of us we dream about becoming an aviator. Flying a heavier than air machine, leave the ground, go up there and explore the world. We want to go up there where it is always sunny and the skies are blue. I can't precisely describe what happens to our body when landing a plane. Our brains focus on everything that is going on the airplane and the environment, our hearts speed up and our breathing rate reduces, once the airplane touches the runway is safe we a deep breathe and our body produces ecstasy and we relax. this just a rough Idea Yes, we study hard, yes it is expensive, stressful and yes the salary isn't great as it used to be back in time. If you really love something, you will work your ass off to make it happen. Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.

Another excellent video. When the camera was facing backwards first time I was like 'who's flying!?' Haha. Loved the full-cockpit shots towards the end. Makes it feel like a real command center!

They key to the brilliance in Rodrigo's videos is not just the fact he records beautiful clips from flights, but the composition. Firstly, music, look at 2:58, when they throttles are being moved, that is perfectly synchronised with the music and I really, really doubt that could be an accident, especially since I've seen similar things in other videos. Secondly, the clips he chooses, they are beautiful, well recorded, and they vary, However, they almost always have a flow to them, it doesn't go from takeoff to takeoff to takeoff to landing to cruise etc, it follows through the flow of the flight. It's one of the most important things as again, it goes with the music, you don't get an intro, solo, chorus, verse, etc, you go through a logical order, and the clips being ordered well works with that and makes for a brilliant viewing experience. Lastly, the angles, and also the outside shots, the variation and skill here does not get credited enough, I commented on the video HIGHER and at around 2:30, his first officer, that was one of the best things I've ever seen, one of the most genuine smiles I've ever seen, Rodrigo uses a great array of angles to capture the happiness and beauty from the passion we all have, otherwise we wouldn't be here. Brilliant work Rodrigo, I hope you keep these videos coming!
