The team REALLY needs to invest in a blast chiller. They're not cheap (standard kitchen ones range from 1.5k to 30k depending on size, quality and power usage and the Michelin ranked ones get get as high as 200k), but I've noticed the pattern of "this one ingredient was too hot to assemble the final product because of the strict time limit, and that one element ruins the entire dish." It would still make for a fun video chaos bc when used **improperly**, your dish can turn into a freezerburnt horror show in less than an hour. Would freshen up the chaos while also eliminating a mechanic of the show that's less than fair and is IMO getting a little old. 🤔

Whoever decided that the cooks wouldnt be in the judging room but in their ears is an absolute genius.

Ryan was doing so well throughout the whole thing I thought they were a shoe-in but the melted ice cream was just not salvageable

Ryan brûlée-ing the merengue on the floor is the single funniest frame in phoning it in history 😂

"You know how on The Godfather, every time you see oranges on screen, it means someone is going to die?" "Well, plot twist: same on this show." Can't say I'm surprised.

I loved Jonny and the Try Guys separately but this collaboration is the BEST ever. They were all clearly meant to be together. The judging here absolutely SENT me. Poor Jonny. This was 100% the best one yet.

I've watched it twice already, it just filled me with so much joy ❤ I agree that it's the best ep

Humor wise this is definitely the one I laughed at the most. Legit my only problem is that Johnny picked a recipe that is literally impossible to make even if he did it himself since there’s no feasible way to make a baked alaska in the time given 😂

Don't ever let Johnny leave. Looooove him. I loooove "phoning it in" and "without a recipe" :)

Kat was an amazing guest to have as a contestant for this series! Her quick wit, easy going nature, likability, and sense of humor were amazing. Can’t wait for the next episode! 🥳

I love that the addition of the chefs being able to hear the contestants during the judging, it makes it so much better

I was crying from laughing so hard during the judging. I love flipping the telephone so the professionals are being instructed on what to say to the judges. Zach, Johnny and Jimmy are so fun to have in episodes and Ryan, Kat, and Susan were all great additions. 11/10

I honestly did not expect Kat to fit in so well, but she was delightful! And wow! Susan Feniger?! That's amazing 🎉🎉🎉 her quirkiness works with them so well.❤

Loved Kat - she came in with a strategy and executed it, but wasn’t super rigid or sweaty about it. And this episode was just hilarious from top to bottom.

I think the fact that Zach put heat into the freezer on top of the ice cream bowl is what made it melt.

I’m so happy that this series is back! But the elevation in the complexity of recipes, the mix of new and old judges and chefs is mind-blowing! I love how Zach and Ryan have control over the chefs’ words during the judging. Hilarious! Well done, producers and team! ❤❤❤

"My family doesn't let me help on Thanksgiving" is such a tell for how bad Zach is at cooking... I'd let my 13 y/o cousin help me with cooking before I'd let Zach touch anything lmao
