Keith: A sudden/drastic change in a cat's (Or any animal's behaviour), you should go to a vet. When our cat got ridiculously hungry and going for the trashbag/our food, we took him in and found out he had hyperthyroidism. I'm also really disappointed that the woman did not do a disclaimer that she was not a licensed veterinary behaviorist, aka someone who's gone to school for years to learn various animal's behaviors. But after hearing how she basically does a seance with the pet's photo and wasn't even with them for the psychic 'talk'... Well, I hope people know the difference between spending money for fun vs. spending it for actual usefulness.

So basically she either: - says very general and stereotypical things: Kimbop is a small dog, they often bark a lot, and they're not taken seriously because they're small, groundbreaking. Of course Kimbop wants lots of attention and praise, that's a trait that 99% of dogs have. Yes Bowie's more likely to like being outside, he's an australian shepherd, and of course he's been on a beach, they live in LA. Of course Alfred sometimes does little meows and will like it when his owners are home, like all cats. - asks questions and rephrase the thing she has just been told, as if it's brand new information - assumes things and if it's wrong she pretends that what the animal believes: oh wait he's not good on leash but Bowie THINKS he's good on leash lololol wow great way to get out of that one And that will cost you $200. Wow. As others have said here, please next time consider asking a real animal behaviorist or a veterinarian, or a psychic that is not 100% scam. If this gets seen - To train Bowie out of barking when people come to the door, instead of stopping the reaction you can teach him to change his response. When theres someone at the door ask him to go get a toy. Spend some time conditioning the sound of a knock/doorbell to the response. If they go and get a toy they cant stand and bark, but they still get to do something to show how excited they are that someone has come to see them ❤

My best friend was born psychic and he can read a stranger just by looking at a picture of them. I have shown him pictures of close people in my life he doesn't know anything about and hasn't met yet and he has read them like an open book. He has left me in shock by the amount of details he has revealed about those people that only I know about. They are 100% accurate. Humans are ignorant and tend to mock what is unknown to them, but spiritual gifts I have witnessed first hand are definitely not science fiction. Humanity is just not at a point yet where they can understand or believe in spiritual gifts, because they're still living so much in their ego that they refuse to use their intuition.

Cats (likely other animals too if they have empathy) will get in your business because they want to be apart of what you are doing. They also try to mirror. They're not sitting on a laptop just because it's warm, but because they want to be apart of what you seem to be so interested in. They are a lot like kids in that respect. If your animal is being intrusive, set up a comfy place for them to sit at the same height to what you are doing while you work (Same goes for more dangerous house hold stuff, like while cooking if they're prone to try to get on the counter. A chair a safe distance away and when safe, letting them sniff what you make and work with goes a long way to preventing them from being like "Ohh, what's that? What's this? What's that?" when they shouldn't or when it's even dangerous.). Bonus if you make the space look like what you work with, IE a pillow made for the animal that looks like a laptop or writing space.

Cold reading is using general information to make it seems like it's about a specific person - like saying "I sense that there is a browned haired person in your life that makes you very happy" - this is extremely generalized. Brown hair is the most common hair color on the planet, so statistically speaking, there is SOMEONE in your life with brown hair that makes you happy in SOME capacity. Then you have hot reading, which is something that can be easily done with the guys - hot reading is researching information about a person before performing the read. Getting information about their pets off of instagram, for example, is easy. She would have been booked beforehand, so she would of had plenty of time to research the pets before ever appearing on camera.

Obviously because there are lots of pets that don't like strangers. With the way she is speaking it sounds as if she is friends with all of them. When she met them after "communicating" they should have at least recognized her but all of them ignored her in favour of their owners and treats. In the best case she watched all their pet content and interpreted their behaviour. In worst case she just used the picture, the petstereotypical behaviour and attitude of the owners.

My best friend was born psychic and he can read a stranger just by looking at a picture of them. I have shown him pictures of close people in my life he doesn't know anything about and hasn't met yet and he has read them like an open book. He has left me in shock by the amount of details he has revealed about those people that only I know about. They are 100% accurate. I really liked Ellie in the cow hugging video, the way she values animals is really beautiful and you can tell she's extremely passionate about what she does at Gentle Barn, but I've never been one to believe in psychics. Psychics are feel good services to be told things that are made up or generalized. It often also takes advantage of people who are genuinely seeking closure or sometimes unhealthy attachment to those they've lost. it's predatory in the way it works, more so when people believe it's literal magic. They're also incredibly overpriced. A lot of people argue that it's not hurting anyone, but it is. Feeling good through absolute lies isn't a healthy way to move past something in grief. Talking to a therapist about it would be much better, as at that at least has peer reviewed evidence in it's efficacy, even though a lot of therapy is both a combination of understanding what we know so far about the human psyche and also understanding people in general and giving off an environment and "vibe" that purports someone to feel like they can open up about whatever is bothering them or talk at all. And at it's heart, unless they declare that this is an entertainment service and not to be taken seriously, it is literally a con, because they have no way to prove that the service they offer is real. It's depressing the people defending it in the comments, not to mention off putting when they do the "very high IQ" equivalent of not understanding the "non-physical world"

You feel validated by the anwser, " your food just smells too good, I can't resist!" . Naw man, your cat is getting older and the nerve pain from the bowl is getting unbearable. Feed him from a heavy plate or a shallow large bowl, being careful as animals tend to stand on the plate with their paws. Regular human dinner plates tend to be heavy enough, push onto it to test it does not flip with some weight.

My best to little Emma, hope she's coping well despite her health issues. I loved that the guys (as always) gave this a try and especially seeing Eugene again is so great. However, I will say, that while this lady no doubt does provide a lot of care to animals, that's just about it. She isn't communicating with your pet in the way that she wants you to believe and your pet isn't talking to her. Even if it were possible to do that I highly doubt she would be able to do so simply by looking at a picture of them. The story of her telling a woman not to leave her husband because her 'dog said so' gives me similar vibes as human psychics telling you they can connect you to your passed loved ones. It may make a person feel better momentarily, but it's fraudulent in nature and can very easily take advantage of vulnerable people. Love you guys, but I really wish you had considered a more scientific approach to understanding pet behaviour.
