Trying $1 Makeup From Wish

So back in February I decided to follow up my other explorations of the Wish site with a deep dive into their inexpensive & counterfeit makeup.... little did I know it would take me until May to actually get all of it! I bought a full face of cheap makeup from Wish to see what it would be like, and also stumbled upon a few fake makeup items like fake Fenty foundation and fake CoverFX highlighter! What do you think? One tip when buying Chinese made makeup, go for the stuff made for their market. It's usually much higher quality. So if it has English written on the product or packaging, that's what you don't want.

When using the wish app, I found you can get «points» by leaving reviews. Getting points give you a discount. So I believe people just leave reviews to get cheaper products themselves (even though they haven’t tried the product they’re reviewing)

I do get some points when I leave a review or when I buys certain items, but I can only review products that I purchased after I say they arrived.They'll sometimes ask if I have the product yet and then ask for a review. Often you don't have time to test the product when you review and you can only review when they ask if it was delivered. Strangely not every product I recieved asks for review.

One more thing: Aside from the oil, your complexion is outstanding. I could not see dark circles (a staple of mine), a lot of red blotches, or your face looking totally different without makeup. I see no fine lines whatsoever(another fun fact of my face), or even short eyelashes. So, ninety-five or more percent perfect. Don't order Wish products anymore so you can stay that way. :0)

No it would be chemical analysis they would process the samples through specific machines which can analyse properties such as absorbency of light in order to find out which chemicals are in them including metals such as mercury or toxins or faecal matter

Also as a side note animal testing is unfortunately mandatory for many things such as discovering new antibiotics, every single batch of Botox is tested on animals as well as mab products all of which help to improve and save lives (unless Botox cosmetically used)

I used Wish eyeliner for a couple weeks because people said it was good and DON'T USE MAKEUP FROM WISH especially around your eyes cause I'm now home and my eyes are very infected and SCABBING DON'T USE IT UPDATE! Thank you guys for all the support. My eyes and around them were very red, painful, infectious, and scabbing. I had to go to a dermatologist and get a couple of antibiotics and looked crazy for about 2 weeks. Now I did use the eyeliner everyday for a couple weeks, so you probably won't have the same experience if you only use it once like Saf. It took about 3 months for the scaring under my eyes to go away, but all gone now!😊 For more info I used the exact eyeliner Saf bought in the video after watching this.

Some of these make up items might have some toxic ingredients in them or they've been made in some really dirty questionable conditions. They also often skip over preservative ingredients or fragnances which leads to really bad smelling weirdly behaving products. However, the same thing goes for even expensive brand make up. Big make up companies are super shady and secretive over some things regarding their products and factories, even if the quality usually is higher. Also the cost of production for most make up is pretty low, and the price consists mainly of the branding and packaging.
