1) cover girl: A little oily finish and lightweight/light coverage, no smile lines 2)L’Oréal: matte/satin finish, oxidized a little bit, minimal smile lines, medium coverage 9.5/10 3) Rimmel stay matte: really matte finish, cakey and was patchy and had good coverage. 4) nyx: powdery at first but became satin finish, did become cakey. 5) maybeline matte poreless: satin finish, blended well, medium coverage, good for all skin types, didn't oxidize 6) revlon colorstay: better for oily skin, a little crusty, medium coverage 8/10 7) Milani: smooth looking, medium to full coverage, no creasing, minimal smile lines, 8.5/10

I feel like dry skin is easier to fix than oily skin because I feel like all you guys need is a good face moisturizer. See, I have oily skin, but during the winter it can become really dry, especially when I wash my face. I just use moisturizer afterwords and it helps a lot. Correct me if I’m wrong about my assumption though, I know it is really hard to control my oily skin, but I’d love to know how the other half lives :-)

Maybelline Fit Me is literally my holy grail. My skin is super oily but I also get dry patches and have very acne prone skin it just sucks all around. I went through a few bottles then I decided to try and find something better cause I had been using it for so long. I tried $60 foundations and other drug store foundations but I finally decided to repurchase the Fit Me. I fell in love with it all over again and constantly reach for it always.

Yes please do a part two and try the Loreal true match super blendable (the original w/o a pump, I know that's a con for you but it's so amazing imo I don't mind it at all) I wear N2 Classic Ivory and absolutely love it, it has much better coverage than the CG true blend imo and it's oil free with spf17 and works great on my oily/combo skin. It melts into my skin like a dream and I've gotten complients when I wore it for the first time w/o concealer or primer and that was in the midst of a very hot day when I had not even set it bc I was testing the lasting power of it alone.

But my skin gets super dry, and I've gotta use strong moisturizing products 24/7 bc if not I get KP even on my face! So, the matte makes my fave feel like plastic and makes my skin look like snake scales lol! It's way way to matte for me! And even in the summer, it doesn't work!

Personally I have very oily skin near my nose and in my T Zone. What’s really helped me is using a matte primer under my makeup and then using elf’s translucent setting/priming powder. I only need to reapply the powder once or twice depending on how humid it is

Right now I'm using the L'Oreal Infallible Pro- Matte and It is amazing for my skin. I have oily skin and this makes my skin feel so nice and stays looking nice throughout the day. I even went to a MAC store wearing the foundation and even the sales associate there said it looked really good. If anyone has oily skin I definitely recommend it. ❤️❤️❤️

I have dry skin and usually when i wear foundation it cakes and crusts around my nose and in between my eyebrows. The maybeline fit me foundation in the normal/ dry formula is THE BEST its so beautiful and it just smoothes everything out!!

So glad you did this. I always have the problem with my nose because a few years ago, I had corrective jaw surgery and they had to cut my nose so I have scars on the sides so I always get dry creases at my nose. So thank god you understand the struggle and found some good ones that don't do that! Also, revlon colorstay has one meant for normal/dry skin and they have made lighter shades in the Milani one, but you have to find it or just order it online. Haha much love💙

I have the NYX foundation and it is exactly how u say it is. Very powdery and cakey. I have dry skin and it definitely doesn’t work for our skin type. I’ve noticed creamier foundations are a better fit. I like the wet n wild photo focus foundation and the fit me Dewey finish 👍🏼 love your videos!

I love the Maybelline matte and poreless!! That one and the wet n wild photofocus are my top 2..And I agree about Milani's shade range..they definitely lean towards darker skin tones which is probably why I've never been a fan of their products..

I’m usually one of the lightest shades in most foundations and I found a perfect match in the Milani foundation, when i first put it on it would look orange and too dark but it oxidized and matched my skin 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s one of my go to foundations. ☺️

the fit me, i wouldn’t wear if you have oily skin. i know people who have tried it that have oily skin and it showed their pores a lot and it looked like they were sweating. no shade being thrown. but i use the l’oréal infallible and i really like it and i have combination skin. i’ve worn it all day and it didn’t show off my oily t-zone at all, which i had previously struggled with even when i used powder. it isn’t so matte that it makes your skin look flakey and dried out. it is a very moisturizing matte foundation and i honestly think it is better than some high end foundations i’ve tried out. highly recommend.

The Milani 2-in-1 in 00 Light Natural is my HG foundation. I’ve re-purchased it at least a half dozen times. I have normal-to-oily skin and I work outside as a ghost and vampire tour guide in New Orleans, where it is so, so humid. I have to touch up throughout the day w/ the Milani pressed powder but I have honestly never had another foundation, at any price point, give me that coverage and that staying power under extreme conditions. The L’Oreal foundation just oxidized so orange on me. I wanted to like it. But the Milani stuff is basically the only foundation I buy now.

I LOVE the nars sheer glow. I have dry/normal skin and like a light/medium coverage. So if ur the same u should give it a try! Only downside is that there isn’t a pump and they don’t really have that many darker shades.

I also have fair skin but mine has a pink undertone. Finding foundations in my skin tone is next to impossible in a good drug store brand case I cant try them on! I finaly found the loreal infallible 24 hour dewy foundation. Love it and the 201(?) matches my skin to a T. Glad you tried that one in matte! I had similar issues with the Nyx foundation, but I went to their store and bought the Honey Dew Me Up primer, and the dewy finishing spray as well. I have very similar skin to Mia’s, and so I put the primer on first, and then I actually mix some of the primer with the drops onto my hand and then apply it to my face with my blender. That seems to improve how it wears significantly. If you’re going to get the drop foundation, I highly recommend getting the honey primer and dewy finishing spray along with it. :))

The fit me foundation from maybeline added new colors!! My daughter is the fairest of fair and the lightest drugstore makeup is far to dark. However just recently fit me broadened their selection amd now the lightest color. Being 101 fair ivory. The ifalliable by loreal does oxidize quite a bit if not for that would be #1

Revlon colorstay has two formulas- normal to dry and combo to oily. Normal to dry is a bit more liquidy and better for dry skin.

From 7th to 11th grade, I used the Rimmel stay matte foundation in the same shade that she was using. However, I used much much less on my skin. It for sure does not take that much and I often mixed it with a moisturizer or coconut oil. When I wore this, strangers would approach me and compliment my skin. The only reason I stopped is because I just decided not to wear foundation and I use a BB or CC cream instead now, but it was a great foundation for my combination skin type (dry in winter/ oily in summer) and it looked good all year round. GIVE IT A CHANCE! :)

Great Video and thank you for it. I am a older woman but do not have many blemishes or too many wrinkles lol, but I am in need to change my foundation. I have previously used Maybelline products and have liked them. Lately my color is so off and looking blotchy. I really liked your video and I am going to try the Loreal Infallible Matte, and maybe try the Maybelline Fit Me. I love the colors and your skin is light like mine and the colors look great on you. I have normal to dry skin (100% understand and get the nose flaking thing!!!) I don't like a matte finish and I normally go with a light coverage to even everything tone wise. This is actually a bit helpful! I might try one or two you tested next! although I think I have a bit greasy skin? I always wear catrice foundation, they go quite light which is good cause I have very pale skin. I think it does wear off a little, around the nose etc. But it's cheap and gives me enough coverage (light-medium) I always love your videos! Please keep up the good work

I used to use Almay and it was perfect, but a lot of drugstores stopped selling it. I tried Rimmel because it was cheap, but it’s horrible for oily skin. But that Fit Me foundation is amazing. I use 120 Classic Ivory. I always wanted to try it before anyways since I saw a lot of ads for it.

Just FYI the NYX drop foundation is supposed to go onto a stipple brush that has a bowl shape indented into it. You shouldn’t be putting it directly on your face. Then you need to add layers until the coverage is as thick as you want. And I set mine with the nyx lose setting powder. I used to love the Rimmel stay matte! But they never had the right shade for me, so i would always mix it with another foundation and it would make it more matte.

With the stay matte foundation I had to mix mine with lotion. I have oily to normal skin and it would never blend for me but when I mixed it with just a white lotion it blended pretty well. I did lighten the foundation so I recommend getting one a shade darker then what you would normally get

The milani is awesome for me personally I have normal to oily skin. It covers pimples well and I have an olive skin tone so it matched very well for medium beige in the winter and warm beige in the summer 9.5/10

I love the Milani foundation, its definitely my go to foundation. I have oily skin and its wears well on my face.
